Way nicer than expected
Bought this for a costume for the Renaissance Festival and I was expecting more of a prop than a functional piece for the price - the craftsmanship on this axe is way better than I expected. The festival has several blacksmiths that make axes you can buy, with prices starting at $400 for a basic axe that doesn't look or feel anywhere close to as good as this one. Of course, you're paying that price because it's a hand-forged weapon made in the US one at a time and because of it, maybe the metal may be of better quality... But $50 for an axe that compared to the ones they had in the $800 range is a steal. This axe is heavy, well-made and is plenty sharp enough to actually cut something. The only gripe I have with it is that I feel like the belt loop should be reversed. The rivets are at the top of it and mounting it hanging this way is difficult to keep stress off the leather at the wrong point and I assume it will eventually wear and tear because of it. If the loop was mounted the opposite way, so the rivets were at the bottom and it hung at the actual loop, it would be much more durable and hang correctly on a belt. Still, for the price, you can't really complain. Definitely well worth the cost!

You can't go wrong with this axe!
This axe is gorgeous! The Teak wood handle is as hard as a rock and hefty, the wrapping looks cool and is functional. Be careful when handling this axe, the head is both sharp and heavy; you could easily hurt yourself! The axe feels good in the hand and is the perfect length for handling with one hand. You can't beat this for the money! If you want a Viking style Bearded Axe then jut buy it, don't hesitate!

Awesome bearded axe
The axe is well crafted and very solid. My only complaint is that upon opening it I unwrapped the shield and the snap broke. I didn't want to return it so I took it to a local leather shop and got a new snap for 4 bucks

We where really happy with it. When we got it looked just like they said and we where able to take it right out and cut small trees..

Axe head came loose
The axe head it’s self is a great product I chopped wood and thru the axe and I didn’t feel any rolls in the blade however the after dropping a watermelon in half the head of the axe came loose it’s not glued on there very well and the leather after only using it for a day was already falling apart and coming loose Overall the axe head is great but I won’t expect the handle and the leather hold up if you plan on using the axe instead of keeping it as a display

Good material, terribly produced.
Axe blade is nice, heavy, durable, and sharp. The shaft is solid and nicely stained. But who ever decided to put it together didn't care one bit about the craftsmanship of it. The blade is wobbly as all, the pleather used on the handle is terrible and also the only thing holding the blade on. Just terrible craftsmanship all together. Great materials though if you wanna work on it yourself. Also leather holster I threw away as soon as I got it. Again terrible craftsmanship.
