Exactly what I was looking for for tasks around the house. Great price, nice size, compact and portable. Has a slight wiggle/shift when you first stand on it but trust its durability. The locking feature is added security.

I purchased this last month to clean my outdoor windows but since then I have used it for so many things! I didn't realize how useful this thing would be in my life. I have used it in my vegetable garden to pick string beans and blackberries that were too high to reach. I have cleaned my gutters, and I have painted my bedroom, it is a lifesaver! It is super sturdy, every for a large person. My mom and I are both senior citizens so the stairs are a little steep for us, so I just use a stepladder beside the platform to stabilize myself when getting on it. I did purchase it when it was on sale, but it is worth every penny!

I don't have a lot of room in my small work space so this being multifunctional is great. Very sturdy. Extended is a great height for a work bench.

Works great. Feels completely safe and sturdy. The ONLY reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because of the "spring fed balls” that go into place when wanting to adjust the leg height. They are incredibly hard to push in. My wife isn’t able to do it by herself. You have to push the ball, back into hole and slide leg up or down in order to let the ball catch the next hole depending on if you’re wanting it higher or lower. The platform that I have is brand new so hopefully after sum uses the springs inside the legs will ease up but other than that one issue, it’s a great product. Folds up nicely too.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Sturdy yet lightweight

The stand itself is WONDERFUL. BUT. It came in having been badly bent by the shipper. Because I need it NOW to be tall enough to pull snow off barn roofs, and cannot wait for a second one to be shipped with the chance that the next one will be mangled worse, my husband worked with heavy tools that bend metal and bent it back enough to get the legs to latch and the lock to work. I'll just leave it up and not collapse it, because, honestly, while I'm good at wrangling cows and horses and even convincing Great White Yorkshires to do what I want, I'm not good with mechanical things. The wonderful parts of the stand: It's very lightweight--easy for me to handle, even with its legs locked to operational. It's got good traction, enhanced by using an indoor/outdoor rug placed on top that doesn't even think to wiggle or slip with the ridges they built into it. It's sturdy, stable, and a very good height for a five-and-a-half foot woman to get up and down on in the snow. Handy, versatile, and well-made. Excellent ...but don't ship it, because they'll drop something on it or hit it with a forklift and, because it's made of nice, sturdy, but light aluminum, well, it will come in bent. Funtionality is GREAT for me. Value for the money spent is excellent. But the shippers will mangle it, so be advised.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fantastic multi-function platform. I made a top to attach to it for work surface and it is my mobile toolbench.When I need the platform I release the top and remove with helper. Price was great, shipped quick. It's not ultra-heavy-duty, but I wouldn't expect it to be at this price point. What it is, though, is bigger than the rest. I don't want to stand on the thinner ones, my shoes are as wide as some of these platforms! This offers more stability with it's bigger footprint. If it's not robust enough for you then check some of the other reviews for improvements, this is a good starting point for a large platform and worth any DIY effort required to make it work for you.

I needed something a little more substantial than my little ladder to get to a light fixture on a 9 foot ceiling. This fit the bill, giving me something I could stand on. Then it folds up nicely and is light enough to carry downstairs for storage.Some complain that the little spring loaded pins on the legs for height adjustment are difficult to push in. And they are, out of necessity. Just use a tool to push them in and it’s no problem.
