Works great, feels just like a quality Klein screwdriver
I had to laugh at the description stating that it was "thoroughly tested by professionals" 😂 if you need a heavy duty bottle opener, this is the one. I just happen to love Klein tools and this opener feels just like a Klein screwdriver. I'm sure it will last a long time.

The right tool for the job.
This is the tool you want. It is exceptionally functional, well made (made in the USA, if that matters to you), and beautiful in the way that quality tools are. The thing that really sets this tool apart is that it correctly balances form vs. function: a heavy duty build (as is the point when buying a bottle opener built by a tool company) without its use as a bottle opener (as is the point when buying ANY bottle opener) being negatively impacted by said build. I also bought the Craftsman bottle cap wrench, which, in my opinion, is hugely successful as feeling like a heavy duty tool and something of a failure as a bottle opener. It's so large and heavy, it has equal mass to the bottle you're opening. Imagine your buddy who has had one too many wielding a 12 oz. steel wrench over your tile floor, countertop, toes, etc. and you'll get the idea.Lastly, the engraving and materials on this Klein tool are so attractive I had to build it a custom wall mount instead of hiding it away in a drawer or tool chest. I will be buying a second for the office.

Nothing small about the Klein opener.
This is my review of a Klein 98002BT- Bottle Opener, there are many like it….But this one… is mine. This was designed to do precisely one thing, precisely; open capped bottles. Not wine bottles, not cans, just bottles with crown tops, and it excels at this singular task. The grip is round, generously covered with rubber, but the user is reminded: This is NOT insulated and won’t protect against electrical shock. Please keep this in mind when opening a beer, and make sure it is unplugged. The rest of the handle is constructed from some translucent, yellow resin which is made out of something capable of taking an artillery hit.The opener is stamped stainless steel, with the edges nicely chamfered. The part of the tool which is placed under the cap’s edge is recessed slightly for superior performance, and on both sides. This maximizes production if you’re in a profession which requires the frequent opening of bottles, or limits the mental strain of having to figure which side is up, when opening your third or fourth beer. Not that I would know. This has all the quality of any Klein Tool, which just happens to perform a noble kitchen task. Complete with the ‘Lineman’ logo on the face, and an icon of a bottle cap on the handle end, reminds one of this company’s origins, the tool’s function, and stirs a fantasy of having a beer atop a utility pole. I also appreciate the Made in USA pedigree. Cheers!

COOL!
I got my first set of Klein's in '84 when I was a first day young pup @GE Industrial Services. I STILL have ALL of those Klein hand tools TO this day, BTW. Lifetime guarantee, you know?I have worn out a couple of openers along the way when the nonworking part of the day commences. :)This opener is awesome, commercial grade stainless, everything, just like my 1984 T2 Philips head with the yellow body. Tip is still not worn out. :)

A neat, little bottle opener. Would make a nice gift.
I saw this in the office of a friend of mine who owns a bar. I immediately oredered one. There's something super enjoyable about the simple, industrial neatness of this bottle opener. The screwdriver-style handle is weighty and satisfying to hold and as a whole, the tool is well-made and stylish. I don't know how much more I can wax poetic about a bottle opener but I am really happy with my purchase and think this would make a great gift for the beer-lover in your life.

Hang on, mathematicians!!
Look, I bought this just based on the name. A Klein Bottle is a special topological object -- a three-dimensional 'volume' that is actually a surface. It is the 3D equivalent to the Möbius Strip. A Klein Bottle has no outside, and no inside. It can store a liquid, but since it is impossible to 'close' a Klein Bottle, eventually everything will evaporate away. So, the whole concept of a Klein Bottle Opener is something that, mathematically, makes no sense at all.All that aside, it turns out this this is a great bottle opener. Regular-dimensional 3D beer bottles, regular caps. It grips hard and it pops the top off every time. So much better than all of the others I've ever owned. So, for the price of half a 6-pack, you can open them in style for the rest of your life. And I really hope the American Mathematical Society orders a lot of these for the open-bar sessions at their annual conference. It'd be the most fun all week.
