Tile Slim (2022) 1-Pack

Worked great! Easy to set up used 1-2 tomes a month.... or week. Lasted 3 years before the battery finally got low. Bought another 3yr, 1 month after this one.

It’s been more than a year since I bought this and it is still working. Can find this from my phone app and can find my phone thru this vice versa. Still holding string inside my wallet and bluetooth stays connected. I sometimes accidentally press the find my phone button on it when I have my wallet in my back pocket and sat on it. It is still in one piece no matter how heavy butt sat on it. Good quality.

I have a habit of losing things and tile has been my savior on multiple occasions! This item in particular I use for my wallet, which I once lost deep inside the cushions of a chair at my sister's house. I was losing my mind searching for it everywhere until I remembered I had tile! I started ringing it and even then it took me a few minutes to pinpoint the exact location ("it sounds like it's coming from inside the chair?") But with the help of tile it was back in my hands quickly! If not for this thing I truly believe I might never have found it! Only downside to this item is that the battery is not replaceable which is annoying, but it does claim to last up to 3 years so I plan on buying a replacement then. Do wish they'd make the battery replaceable, like the older models of the keychains, but on the whole you can't beat the feeling of relief when you think you've lost something important and you're able to get it back! I have several of the keychains as well and recently one of them saved my life again when I accidentally left my purse outside at a restaurant. With tile I was able to quickly pinpoint the last seen location as the restaurant, call to see if they had it and go pick it up! I saved myself a lot of panic and worry, not to mention time I would have spent searching. Since my item was in an outdoor seating area during a slow time, the speed with which I was able to locate it and call meant the staff was able to bring it in quickly, possibly saving it from a worse fate! All the tiles are easy to use. The app integration works great - you can easily ring it if you're close by (like I was when I lost my wallet in a chair) or if you're far away (like my purse) it will show you a map and tell you where your item was last seen so you can quickly tell where to look next. In order to truly appreciate the value of this product you need to imagine your future self when you've lost your item. The sense of panic and dread and also the desperation you might feel. In moments where I've lost something I immediately think "I'd pay so much money right now just to have my thing back!" $20-30 for this thing is actually very good compared to feeling the need to give all the cash you have in your wallet to that cab driver who kindly drove it back to you when it accidently fell out of your pocket into their backseat (yes, of course I've done it!) I lost a wallet once that was never recovered and it cost me not only the $ that was in it but so much time and effort to replace the items that were in it. Wish I would have had tile then! Trust me, if you're on the fence at all just get it! Your future panicked self will thank you!

I used to lose track of my wallet in my house constantly, since I often forget to move it when I switch from pants to shorts for changing weather or a workout, etc. With the Tile Slim, I can easily track it down using the app and the audible chime, which is loud enough for my use. The main problem with the design is that it's too easy for the button to be pressed accidentally if you keep your wallet in your back pocket. This sets off a chime and rings your phone if you have the Find Your Phone feature enabled. I highly recommend disabling that feature if you sit on your wallet. Even with Find Your Phone disabled, the chime on the Tile Slim kills the battery way ahead of the 3 year mark. My first one died around 1 year, and I disassembled it to see if I could replace the battery. I'm an electrical engineer, I don't recommend disassembly of devices with potentially damaged lithium batteries for just anyone. Nondestructive disassembly seemed impossible due to the glue used, but I did confirm via DMM that the battery was actually dead. After that, I found out that it was still in warranty and I could have gotten a replacement. My second one just died, also at about 1 year, and Tile is sending a warranty replacement at no cost to me. If there were a better option out there, particularly with a replaceable battery, then I'd switch, but for now this is invaluable for my day to day problem of needing to find my wallet quickly so I'm not late to appointments. To anyone at Tile reading this - please update the firmware and app to provide an option where users can either turn off the chime or require a much more convoluted trigger path so it doesn't happen so often.

My son misplaces things all the time. He has tried to get better with this but it's a struggle. When he got a job and driver's license and had to start carrying his wallet around, even he was worried. I purchased this item hoping it could help and give him peace of mind. It has helped on more than one occasion! When the wallet has been missing in the house he has easily been able to find it using the app on his phone. We have also purchased Tiles for his keys and other important items! Allow me to edit this review to add: my son lost his wallet after a high school football game. It was found by an individual on the opposing team who took the wallet home with them. It is a long story and the individual intended to give the wallet back, but they did not contact us until the next day. In the meantime, they went home to a neighboring town with the wallet. We were able to track his wallet to their house with the app, as they must have had a tile app as well. We were able to go to the police and report the wallet missing and show them the app indicating where the wallet was to get assistance. In the meantime the family reached out to us in order to return the wallet with all the contents - yes, there are still very good people in the world! This works quite well, even if you think it isn't going to!! This item is slim, a little bit thicker than a credit card, you simply slide it in your wallet. Download the Tile app on your phone and walk through the instructions on the app to get it connected. Should you misplace your wallet, you can log on your phone and it will help you locate your wallet as long as you are in the vicinity of the item. While it is intended for a wallet or something like this, you could use this tile in just about anything you wanted to keep track of. A purse, backpack, suitcase, etc.

I love how I can track my wallet from my phone. Whenever I misplace it (which happens more often than I’d like to admit!), I can simply pull up the app and make it ring to locate it quickly. It’s so reassuring to have that peace of mind. The range is impressive as well; I’ve successfully tracked my wallet even from a distance. Very disappointed with this product. Have been driving around and walking around all night testing it out. I decided to walk and drive around town and leave the card at certain spots to see how accurate it was. At first I was not getting any connection to it when I was driving. Took me a few tries to realize my phone was connected to my truck via Bluetooth so it was never connecting to the tile. So if you have other Bluetooth devices that you normally connect to, consider this worthless because it will not update the location unless you are not connected to anything. So then I decided I would stop at a spot and turn my truck off for a set amount of time to let it connect. Then leave and check the location. The first time I did this I really gave it a run for its money. I gave it 3 seconds tops and left. Unfortunately it did not connect and I was not able to see the latest location. Next I gave it about 10 seconds hoping this would be enough time. No dice. 3rd time I walked around with it for 2-3 minutes. Dropped it in a spot, and continued down the road until I was out of range to see if it had picked up the location somewhere along the line. Unfortunately again it did not detect it at all. It showed the location last at my house which was not where it was. The only time it would connect was when I was standing there with the app open and the tile in my hand. This also tells me that the lost feature that tile has is almost completely useless. 1st off someone would have to have the tile app downloaded. 2nd they need to have their Bluetooth on. 3rd they cannot be connected to anything else. And 4th and lastly if all those things work, tile app needs to recognize the tile device nearby and connect to it. Which I can't even get it to do walking with it right in my pocket. I have an android. Apple tags are the way to go for Apple products..still debating what to do for my Galaxy phone. Might try the galaxy tag. But did like this slim design.

Der Tile Slim Bluetooth Schlüsselfinder ist ein wahrer Lebensretter! Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern, wie oft ich meine Schlüssel verlegt habe, bis ich diesen kleinen Helfer entdeckt habe. Die Einrichtung war super einfach und die Reichweite von 60 Metern ist mehr als ausreichend, um meine Schlüssel in meinem Haus oder Büro zu finden. Aber das Beste daran ist die Community Suchfunktion! Wenn meine Schlüssel wirklich verloren gehen und außerhalb der Reichweite sind, kann ich die Tile-Community aktivieren, um mir beim Wiederfinden zu helfen. Das hat mir schon ein paar Mal den Tag gerettet! Die Slim-Version passt perfekt in meine Geldbörse oder Tasche, ohne sperrig zu sein. Ich kann dieses Produkt jedem empfehlen, der regelmäßig mit dem Verlust seiner Schlüssel zu kämpfen hat.
