Pina Zangaro Bex Gray Screwpost Binder, 11x17 Landscape Orientation (34453)

This portfolio casing was perfect for my graphic design portfolio. It's sturdy, simple and easy to keep clean. I'm dropping one star because I wish it came with sleeves that I didn't have to purchase additionally. For this price, it should have some included!The product was in excellent condition when it arrived (no bumps, dings or damage). I purchased the sleeve inserts to accompany this portfolio and I ended up using ten of them. The screw posts that came with this portfolio were able to accommodate the ten inserts just fine.If you're looking for something to switch out images frequently, I'd recommend getting the sleeve inserts and going about it that way.

It's okay- better than a 3 ring binder in terms of presentation. One major complaint is that I find it very difficult to get the screw pegs lined up so you can add the sheet protectors. After putting it together and filling a couple dozen sheet protectors, I decided that I wanted a few pages reorganized, but the effort to accomplish this is almost not worth it. Maybe there's a good trick I don't know about, but as I see it, it's not user friendly at all. Also, based on the description, I thought I'd need the screw peg extensions, but turns out it makes the binder too fat, and the standard pegs it comes with accommodate 20 sheets easily.

As part of a digital scanning and reproduction project to reduce 28 11 x 14, looseleaf ring style photo albums with over 1000 protective insert sheet pages down to three Chicago screwpost style binders with new digitally printed sheets, I ordered the Pina Zangaro Bex, 11 x 14, black, portrait Presentation Books. They are moderately priced and are of excellent quality; exactly what I was hoping to find. Only one negative: Pina Zangaro currently does not make available a screwpost parts package of sufficent quantity to economically expand the binder to the required 3 inch thickness. I was able to find the post parts at screwpost.com (minimum 100 per box).

I like this portfolio. The bookcloth cover is really nice, looks good and feels nice. Get some hinge strips or hinged mounting sheets so your pages can lie flat. Unlike some other expensive Pinas, this one doesn't show damage as easily (like scratches, etc) and seems more resistant to damage. It can be safely cleaned with a damp cloth, too. I'd recommend it over Machina or Vista.

Mine had that mat black velvet look, smooth to touch and very sturdy. I'm satisfied with what I purchased and probably going to buy more and possibly different styles.

Fantastic Quality, I have a custom one coming in later from a company in Britain but even if I did not this is great for what you need it to be!

Works great but a little hard to put in the screw posts.

It's good but way too expensive. Just some screw posts and plastic. It shoulda been like $20 tops.
