Finally found soft, comfortable, well made socks that fit great!!
My search for socks is finally over! Over the years, I have bought so many different socks. I am truly picky when it comes to comfortable socks. These Pembrook diabetic ankle socks are almost perfect!I don't have diabetes but I do get swollen ankles sometimes, especially if my socks are tight around the ankle. These socks are so comfortable! They fit all of my requirements for socks:- They are not too thick, because I like somewhat thin comfortable socks. Also not too thin that they will fall apart after wearing once them twice.- They have a cushioned sole but not so thick that they are hot and sweaty.- They are stretchy and non-binding at the ankle and over the top of the foot.- They are wide and loose at the ankles but they don't constantly fall off. In fact, they stay exactly where they are supposed to be.- They don't have a horrible seam along the end of your toes. It is along the top but done well so it isn't big and bulky on top or on the sides. Some socks have the seam sewn so badly that you end up with big corners sticking out on each side of the toes.- They are not tight or constantly pulling at the toes.- They are soft and they don't stick to any rough spots you may have on the bottom of your feet.- These are comfortable both barefoot and in shoes.- They are machine washable and didn't fall apart or change size completely when washed.- They are a good price for 6 pairs of socks! These socks are made of polyester and spandex. I prefer cotton socks normally, so I wasn't sure if I would like that these were polyester but I do like the material. They have mesh material along the top that makes them not to hot and also has more stretch. I included some pictures of the sock wrong side out so you can see how well made these socks are.The reason I say they aren't perfect, is the non binding ankle isn't quite loose enough, so they still make a little imprint on my ankle. It is barely there though and it isn't uncomfortable. I'm hoping after wearing them a few times they will become a little looser. But they are definitely not tight. After buying so many different brands of socks, I have finally found some that I will wear! They won't be added to the collection of tried on once and shoved to the back of my drawer. I am super happy with these socks! So, I am rating these Pembrook socks 5 stars and I would definitely recommend them to any picky sock buyer out there. These are definitely worth a try! For size comparison, I wear a size 8 1/2 wide shoe and I bought medium socks.

Good for purpose but lacks in preventing circles around ankles prevalent with diabetes.
This item is as described by vendor with the exception when wearing, rings around the ankleare viewable. Quality is good, comfortable to wear, washable, and soft.

Comfy socks that don’t bind the ankles.
Great socks! No tightness around the ankles and the fabric is nice and soft. I will likely buy more colors.

Comfortable and airy
Oh these socks are non binding, very soft and comfortable. They also have little air holes so your feet stay nice and dry. I would recommend.

Still tight at my ankle
Although comfortable and lightweight, they still leave a tight ring at my ankles. I do not have diabetes and not overweight or heavy. They leave a ring. And they are still tighter than I expected. Not thrilled with them.
