This is a well built knife holder. The magnetic is strong a good non slip base and the unit has substantial weight to it. Built to last a lifetime. Very impressive.

Well made, wood apears to be good quality.Magnets not consistant and do not hold the knives in one place, they tend to be attracted to each other.Large knive slide down the block and the points touch the metal base plate, this in time will scratch it.Otherwise quite good and better than most.

The knife block is fantastic it looks really impressive on your kitchen top, I love it.

For years I have been using rubbish knives because I have been buying knives to fit a knife block. I finally bought a great set of knives and found this lovely magnetic knife block on Amazon. Wow it looks very sleek in my kitchen and holds my set of knives beautifully! Definitely a great buy.

I love this! It's beautiful and so functional. The magnet is extremely strong and the knives very secure. Mine currently holds 10 knives, front and back. I'm interested to see if it will hold my new honing steel, as well. Not really counting on it, but it'll be great if it does.Updated 5/17/24: surprised and delighted to discover that it holds my honing steel as firmly as it holds my knives. Surprising, considering the steel is about 1/2" in diameter, round, and quite heavy. Wouldn't think it has enough surface area to securely attach/cling to, but it is held quite solidly. Takes genuine effort to prise it away. Needless to say, knives are well and truly secured, as well. Very happy with this purchase.
