Comfortable and extremely lightweight.

I am little disappointed because of color; much lighter than the picture. I don't like light color navy. So I am not sure I will wear it. But I purchased several black one for gardening and trimming trees, and it is best sun Hat. I live in hot climate area so normal hat which usually made with cotton and heavier. I can't wear those when outside temperature rises, way too hot to wear. But this sun hat is so light, wider headband that absorb sweat, and wider brim to protect from sun. I am pretty happy with it. Most of people around this area never seen this wide brim hat and give look. But they don't know how good it is to have wider brim when you are out in a sun often.

Recently I had thought wouldn't it be nice to have a hat with a wide visor but also to be able to take off the hat/cap part and just use the visor by itself. So I was looking around Amazon and look what I found. I haven't really worn it yet (I am saving it for my annual Hawaii trip) but I did try it on. When I opened the package I discovered the hat had it's own carrying bag with it. The hat fit well but I did adjust the velcro fastener underneath the bow in the back. It has a very nice nylon zipper to unzip the cap part from the visor part, which was easy to do. I did rezip the cap back onto the visor part to make sure everything working right. It's light weight and made very nicely. Glad I found it!

Cheap product to give me sun protection on travels. I like the zip off, the bow makes it sort of prettier. It's velcro adjustable, so doubt this will last very long. Thin material, which does make me a bit suspicious as to how much UPF this truly has, but I got white, so at least reflection will help. My biggest gripe is the word it has on the band. It broadcasts this as cheap lol.Also the hat I got has the word "simplicity" on the hat. Simplicity is another listing that states it has UPF, but this one says no rating. Tag says Bellamy. Anyway, all this to say is you ARE getting one of these weird China products that is all the same thing, but under different "companies" under the illusion you are getting a choice / there is competition. But hey it's $10, it'll do the job!

I love this hat! The best part is the versatility - being able to unzip the top off when I wanted to put my hair up sealed the deal. The brim is a bit flimsy so any wind had it blowing all over the place and the Velcro doesn’t allow for it to feel super tight and secure so I did have to hold on to it in the wind but when it wasn’t windy, it was perfect! I semi-remedied the problem by bobby pinning it into my hair too. The extra large brim covered my ears, provided tons of sun coverage over my face, and although some people say it’s a bit “handmaideny” because it blocks your peripheral view, I loved that I could bring it down lower and avoid everyone around me. Aside from a brim that blew in the wind and a desire for a backing that allowed for extra tightening that Velcro can’t do, it was 100% the money!
