Very Sexy Story
Nice progression into the lifestyle and hot scenes throughout. The characters Ian and Emily seemed to communicate about everything. It was to see Emily tease poor Ray throughout the story to a great climax and slight twist in the end.

Not sure it shouldn't be five.
Wife developes a crush on a young handsome coworker and teases husband wit her flirtatious interaction with him. They use fantasy as an aphrodisiac in the bedroom with "WOW" results! Things progress to a date night where they are going to pretend to meet at a bar flirt then hookup as if the first time! Confusion reined when she sees her "Crush" they and her husband hiding to see what she will do. She decides to test how far her husband will let her go until she suddenly doesn't see h any more and calls his work phone and he answered! The story gets better after she gets home and had to confront him with what she did with her crush thinking he was watching! This is, after all, a hotwife story,, so you can guess where this is headed. Not quite as much angist as I would like but enough to hint at the dangerous game they are playing. I liked this and rereading is just as enjoyable.

Ian's Obsession makes both books 10 times better. The characters were will written and flesh out ...
This book was excellently written. The slow burn buildup to the last scene was delicious and the scenes very hot. Reading this along with Kenny Wright's Because He's Watching: Ian's Obsession makes both books 10 times better. The characters were will written and flesh out that you could clearly see the emotions going through their minds. Must read for fans of wife-watching.*********SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT********At first I was a bit wary of Emily, she already was openly flirting with and was attracted to Ray, wasn't doing much to deter his advances and seemed to encourage them. I figured she was already on a slippery slope to infidelity. But I relaxed as the story progresses, while it doesn't take much convincing on Ian's part to get her to agree, she did show strong self control and courteous of how Ian was doing with this. Then I started to get wary again when Emily started to eagerly instigate interactions without Ian's consent, but at least would tell Ian afterwards; and then she starts to fall for Ray and starts doing things for him and I figured this was heading towards train wreck territory. At the end Emily pretty much embraces this new side of herself and eagerly throws herself at Ray. Even pulls in Brian who she knew for a couple hours to tag team her and before going home to Ian she has one more quickie, bareback creampie that she doesn't tell Ian about. But in the end she does choose her family over Ray and avoids him for remainder of his week. Ian apparently picks up on how dangerous it got at the end, or didn't like it as much as he thought and decides once is enough and to never bring it up again. But is that really wise? What happens if Ian and Emily lose this new found closeness, goes back to being routine, back to Emily feeling unattractive? Can Emily really close the door on this newly awakened side of her? Judging by the ending apparently not, Emily can't forget it or Ray and secretly scratches her itch through the video Ian made and is more aggressive with flirting with other men. Will she keep pushing a little more each time before she finds herself in a spot she can't resist? Will she try to convince Ian to try again, or cheat, or be fine?I guess that is the beauty and the ugliness of open endings, thought-provoking but also a lot of questions.

Perverse wife
The wife in this novel self-rationalizes her debauchery in some of the most fascinating internal dialogues I've every read in the genre. To almost "everybody in the book (including herself) she's viewed as a basically decent woman just out to fulfill her hubby's fantasies and be fair to a guy who adores her at work. To the readers, at least this reader, she comes across as a scheming slut who wants nothing more... or less... than total carnal satisfaction. She tries to her soften how men view her by saying, in effect, I may be a slut, but I'm YOUR slut." But she says that to everybody! The only complaint I have is that the wife, who has been plotting and anticipating the "main event" with her lover for almost the entire length of the book, shows no hesitation, when the event finally happens, to engage in a threesome to accommodate a second person who crashes into the action out of nowhere. This is the second time I've encountered a scenario like that it in a McCurran story (the other was Gentrification, an otherwise perfect work). I think the author does this in an effort to intensify the finale, but I think it dilutes it and distracts from it. Quality, not quantity works much better in this genre. I don't want to watch Indiana Jones search for the ARK for two hours and then find two of them.

Page turner! Has you hooked and begging for more from beginning.
From the first chapter it has action to you sucked into the story but with enough story to make you need to know more about the characters. I found myself asking questions and reading more to find answers, putting myself in the shoes of the husband and became really interested. Now i am going to read the counterpart story which the first two chapters are included at the end of the story. Really puts light on the whole story, I recommend reading this first.

Buckle up buttercup!
This book was a recommendation, and I will start this review by saying this is not my usual type of story. I don't mind MMF, MFM or any or all of the above in my books but I am not one for reading a story that is completely shrouded by just that. In saying that though, this book showed me a different perspective on what it is like to be completely open and honest with your partner about the things you crave. More often than not relationships like Ian & Emily's get a bad reputation because it isn't what people would consider "normal" and that is ridiculous. Their desires were completely and entirely fulfilled in this story and for me that was the underling story here.Anyone else interested in the far dirtier side of the story it is there babe, trust me.

Really good!
Just prior to reading this book by Kirsten McCurran, I read Kenny Wright's "Ian's Obsession" which is essentially the same story with the same characters and the self same plot. The difference of course is that Kirsten's book is the story told from Emily's point of view. I think I enjoyed this one better from the point of view that it gave insight into the private conversations between Emily and Ray that Kenny's book couldn't give and they were very enjoyable. On the other hand, I think I enjoyed Kenny's better from the point of view that at the time of reading, it was a brand new story and obviously when reading Kirsten's version there was repetition allbeit unavoidable if the author is to stay true to the story. I would have preferred to have one longer book containing both versions rather than buy two books however it must be said that the story, characters, scenarios and the descriptions of all of these were excellent and my observations have'nt stopped me giving this book and the other a top rating.

Very enjoyable read
This book tells the tale of Emily and her husband Ian’s journey into her first affair, although it is never described by Emily as such. Ian is drawn to thoughts of watching his wife with anther man, Emily is not totally against the idea but worries about the consequences for her marriage and family of such a move. They plan a date night where they will play strangers and Ian will make a move on Emily in a downtown bar. As it turns out Ian kind of sets up Emily and as by chance or design (we never are quite sure as the book is written from Emily’s stand point) Emily’s co-worker Ray is at the same bar, they hook up while Emily waits for the delayed arrival of her husband. So begins a serious of events each one taking Emily further and further down the road to letting Ray have her, by various means Emily manages to engineer situations where her voyeur husband is able to watch. A very entertaining book, well written with believable characters and situations. The end is a little strange, where both Emily and Ian admit they greatly enjoyed they played this game neither feel the need to explore further, but it did leave me wondering whether either of them would be able to leave it alone now that the genie is out of the bottle. I think there is further scope for these two characters and hope that there might be a sequel sometime, I certainly would be one of the first to buy it.

See Emily Play
A very hot book, well written and slow burning, surely smouldering. You know Emily will, but McCurran brings the right amount of guilt, self doubt and frission of excitement to the unfolding drama as her heroine, knowing she's wanted by another man, acts that bit sexier, that bit more confident, that bit more flattered by his compliments, that bit bolder. The role of the watching and encouraging husband is not quite so well fleshed out but you don't have to suspend too much imagination to believe the story. A real turn on for both sexes that just might sate a curiosity that in reality could be damaging... but then again!

Very good
This is a good book and delves into the the Hotwifing world quite well but it's a shame that the story line is via the wife only and neglecting the husband angst. I know that Kenny Wright has written the same story from the husbands point of view but in some way I feel that's a cheat as it's the same story but I digress. This is good, not perfect but having read similar books this is definitely one of the best.

From the womans point of view
I read this book with a great deal of interest and was taken back in time. My wife and I had played a similar 'game'. The result was as exciting as this books describes. It is intersting reading from the womans point of view. Just like the book what we did, to most couples was wrong, but I can so relate to Ian (the husband). It was so exciting for both of us and did increase the excitement between us.This book is for couples who are adventurous and not afraid to push the boundaries.
