UPDATED REVIEW….Temp is Colder and ice buildup non existent
12-22-2024 Five stars now after using and learning where in my fridge worked best. I have a Norcold so using the one that I could hook to fridge power was not an option so had to use battery model. I used for a week on top shelf and moved the next week to the middle of fridge which seemed to work best. After a week on middle shelf I started turning it off when I went to bed and back on when reaching for my morning creamer. Surprisingly the middle shelf kept my fridge “fins” free of ice build up and that’s where it is now after four months and still on same Duracell batteries. Great product, thankyouNeed more time to properly review but so far it is working. More time needed since it has been cloudy and rainy for a week and outside temp was lower by 7 to 10 degrees. Today it is scorching hot and sunny and I have had to increase fridge temp to highest setting to keep it below 40 degrees but it is holding temp steady. When first received I started off with it on bottom shelf as instructions stated but found it did not help and after 24 hours moved it to top shelf as others had suggested. It worked better but I have found that my second shelf seems to be the best location. It has solved the ice build up on the fins 100 percent. So far no noise as others have mentioned. I will update in 2 weeks what I think as I really wanted the kind that goes on the fins but since I have a Norcold I cannot run installation wires down drain hole for fridge condensation. Iunderstan Norcold fridges now come with this system installed.

Great product!
The fan works as described - it keeps the cooler air in the back of the RV refrigerator circulating, so the products in the back don't freeze. It has reduced the amount of condensation in the back of the refrigerator and is extremely quiet. It cannot be heard with the door closed, and barely audible with the door open. It just needs a few D batteries to run (not included) and takes up minimal space.

Does the job, could be improved
This fan is small, so it does not take up much space in the frig. It would probably do the job as advertised in a smaller refrigerator. I am using it in a regular sized refrigerator; so, it is not really powerful enough by itself for the job - I am using another similar fan to assist. Together they make a difference in balancing the temps between top shelf and bottom shelf. The fan runs about a week on 2 "D" sized batteries before the batteries need to be replaced. My suggestions for improvement: Change the motor & fan blade to provide a stronger air stream. There is a large air intake on the bottom and two smaller intakes near the top & fan blade. If there were small feet on the bottom on only one side the intake would be open to take in air and sit at an angle. The angle would facilitate blowing air around the edge of the refrigerator shelf from the lower shelves; assuming the fan was placed on the outer edge of the lower shelf.

Great RV fan - Great company
We had a Beech Lane RV fridge fan for about 2 years and used it for 6 months per year. When it stopped working we researched many RV fans and ended up purchasing another Beech Lane RV fan.We like that it is battery operated and can be put in any area of the fridge. The amount of airflow really helps circulate the cold thruout the entire 9cu ft fridge. We contacted the customer service department about a small issue which was addressed promptly and professionally. We would purchase from Beech Lane again

Battery eater
I bought this for my 5th wheel fridge. While it does keep the temperature down it eats through batteries like crazy. I won’t use it during the winter to save money on batteries that I’ll have to continually replace in the summer. Not sure if it’s just mine that does that, but when it’s running it does its job good!

Noisy and eats batteries.
I’ve had three of these fans. I returned two due to noise. I’ve fought the noise and excessive battery consumption and have now tossed and replaced it. Replaced with the battery powered valterra fridge fan. The first Valterra lasted for over 20 years when we camped part time. The plastic tabs were worn so I replaced it. Went for the cheapest and should have spent extra$, for Valttera. If You’re using battery operated fab go with Valterra.

It works!
I’ve had this running for four weeks now with the same set of batteries and it is still going. Know that the fan runs at low velocity. It moves the air just enough that when I placed it in my mini fridge just a couple inches away facing the back wall where the cooling elements are, the internal temperature dropped almost 10 degrees at the fridge door shelf. Before using the fan, the fridge was cold near the back wall but not as cold on the door shelf. It seems like the fan barely moves any air but apparently it circulates the air in the fridge just enough for a cooler average temperature all throughout. So I got a second one. One on the top shelf and one on the bottom shelf both facing the cooling element. I’ll update when I know how long the batteries last. I recommend this for anyone using a small refrigerator that typically does not have its own internal fan.
