Works great and pretty easy to install.
Weighed my door with a bathroom scale to find the right springs. House is 40 years old and so are the garage doors, and one of the springs failed and snapped. Door weighed right about 110lbs, and so I ordered 2 sets of springs to replace all on both doors. Removed all tension from the springs by opening the door and pinning it with some sheet metal style vice grip pliers. C clamp would probably work too. Had to open it just a bit farther than it normally sits. After that it was just taking apart the pulleys to get the springs and wire loaded. Reattached the S hooks and was back to good. Whole job for both doors probably took less than 30 minutes. They were a touch shorter than the originals but installed without issue. As long as they don't break in the next 40 years I'd call them as good as the originals. Doors open and close just like they should.

Excellent replacements at a great price!
I had a repair person out a few years back to replace some 9x21 panels on my doors, and he recommended replacing the safety cables on one door, and for an extra Ulysses, he'd do the springs also. So I coughed up the extra, thinking, "It's for safety". But only had him do one door. The other door had the original springsHere we were 5 years later, and the springs he installed were wack! Bent all out of shape, and the crazy part is, my original OEM springs on the other door were still straight as an arrow. I also noticed the replacement he used had a different coil thickness. So I bought these DURA-LIFT springs after noticing it's the same brand one of the big-box hardware store chains carried, I felt pretty confident about the quality.I couldn't be happier. This spring was nearly identical to my Chamberlain OEM door spring, same caliper thickness, same coil diameter, same-same-same except this included a dual-loop on the end which I prefer over the OEM. It was super easy to install. They're a little oily straight out of the box, which I expected for corrosion prevention, but just saying, you'll want to wear gloves during install. The packing was also very eco-friendly, they came in a thin plastic sleeve, inside the smallest box they could possibly fit.All-around, this was a win for me.Oh, and fun note. These springs are all color-coded with paint on the ends. There's an index for the spring colors and what weight of door they're intended for. I looked at what my other door's original OEM springs were, dark blue (140lb). The "professional" installed ... white (110lb). I'm guessing that had a lot to do with the premature fatigue and failure of the replacements.Anyway, I highly recommend these Dura-Lift springs, much closer to what originally came with my doors.

Good springs
The springs were exactly as advertised. I like the double loop at the top. They were an exact fit replacement for my old ones. Nothing but good things to say they seem to be high-quality, no noise, smooth and all around good Springs.
