Early doors but simple to set up and use
Its very early days but....I have done the initial set up and I followed the instructions in the printed manual, I also use a wired connection rather than Wi-Fi which simplifies things somewhat.Follow the manual to the letter, re-read each step and it will go swimmingly.Filling the tanks is simplicity, inserting heads (appear to be repurposed HP print cartridges, so a case of not re-inventing the wheel) also was simple.Should printing be degraded these can be replaced/manually cleaned so a bonus as my usage is likely to be quite low and clogged heads quite likely, the cause of the death of my Epson.I was concerned about duplexing, as had read some had issues, but my test print was fine, I was using HP Everyday paper (75gsm) that has been stored in a good environment. From experience even small amounts of moisture in paper can cause issues, we have discarded whole many reams of paper at work that would just kept jamming.Draft quality prints are fine, text is crisp and clear.Photocopies come out a little washed out, with light greyscale disappearing, but is serviceable. A photocopy of my driving licence came out perfectly readable with all lines clear and even the fine lines of the crest and photo clearly visible.Print speeds are snappy.Ink levels should be visible, I may have to wait for some to be used up as they are quite dark.Printing from my iPhone just worked, adding the printer in to Windows 11 also just worked, Android didn't want to play but that's Android. All in an upgrade on my Epson SX535WD.

Excellent, quick, well-made and installed in under five minutes
I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews about the struggle to install this printer but if you can find the WPS button on your router, you can get it working and happy in under five minutes. There's nothing to do other than plug it in, install the ink, install the print heads and select it from the HP app. Since this was replacing an old HP All-in-One, the app on my PC did the whole job without an update. The economics of tank printing are a no brainer. 20 times the ink for less money and it's simpler to refill the tanks than it is to change cartridges. Not quite as well made as the earlier model, though the paper tray is an improvement but good enough and sharper and clearer when outputting from LaTeX pdfs. As on reviewer has commented, there are quicker printers around, and for less money, but there isn't a tank fed printer with this spec for less money, nor one as simple to use.Delighted with everything except Amazon who I thought had dropped the price £45 when I came back to write a review. However, I think there may be confusion between the model with the document feed and without. Without the document feed I think the price is £235. With it, the price is £279. There is certainly a mix up in the HP comparison table which appears below the product listing.Perhaps Amazon can clarify.

Dubious build quality, but does the job in a clanky way.
I bought this printer as a successor to my venerable HP LJ 4700 colour laser, which served faithfully for fifteen years. While that old workhorse is still chugging along, it’s bulky and far more than I need nowadays. Admittedly, I’ve been inkjet-free for years—those machines were always too slow and costly to run—but this one lured me in with promises of ink-tank economy. How could I resist? This all-in-one (AIO) printer offers scanning and printing capabilities. The scanner? Flawless. The printer? Well, it’s a mixed bag. It holds just 100 sheets of A4 paper, but that’s fine for my small office setup. The printing experience, however, is a bit of a clunky symphony. The first page takes its sweet time to appear, but once it gets going, the speed is respectable. As for colour documents, they’re decent—though not show-stopping. And photo prints? Let’s just say, I’ve seen better from inkjets designed specifically for photography. For the price, I had higher hopes.Speaking of price, the build quality leaves something to be desired. It’s clearly tailored for home or small office use—not a robust contender for busier environments. The design is clean but uninspired—aesthetically neutral, you might say. Setup was straightforward enough, provided you follow the instructions carefully (read: don’t wing it).Am I dazzled by this printer? Not quite. But it’s good enough to avoid a return trip to the store. Next time, though, I’ll probably give other manufacturers a closer look.

Easy set up HP Smart Tank 7305 All in One Printer
Having read the reviews, I was concerned that setup would be difficult but the hardest part of the setup process was remembering my wifi code! Filling the ink tanks, installing printheads etc were as simple as could be and not messy either. I set the printer up on my mobile phone before connecting my laptop to the printer and the step by step guide was very easy to follow. the print from anywhere function is a great option and I am delighted so far with my purchase. If the ink lasts as long as suggested, then it will have been a price well worth paying for this printer. Cheaper printer cost more to run due to the cost of replacement in cartridges, one of my motives for opting for this printer after researching my options.

Product fails to perform functions it claimed to be performing. Rating not even 1 star!
I bought this printer HP Smart Tank 7305 All in One on 15 Dec 2024 (S/N CN450667O8R). Now the Printer cannot do 2-sided printing (though this is one of its functions), nor scan from printer to computer (again another function it claims to have). When I checked HP's register of my purchase, its says the guarantee for this printer expired in Nov 2024 (before I purchased this product). I would like to have your feedback about what to do. I spoke to HP staff (Hamza on 5 Feb., he promised to help and assure me no problem with the expiry date. But he did not come back again on what to do). I called again today, and answered by Salma (her attitude is even worse. She simply refused to help). I trust Amazon, and find this entirely unacceptable.
