I love this uke and the tuner and getting started book ...
I love this uke and the tuner and getting started book it comes with is top knotch. If you've never played an uke, I promise you, the little instruction book will have you playing in less than a week - seriously. It's just so easy to understand, and I have tried playing before. Just couldn't get it. I'm now playing like I've been playing for years and it's been a few months. I love it.It is a bit too small for my hands, so I moved up to a Kala Concert uke, which I love. If you are a very, very beginner like I was, I'd definitely start with this one and move up if need be. The strings aren't as nice as my Kala, but honestly, on some songs, I actually prefer to play this because of the classic uke sound this provides. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

best for beginners
My daughter wanted to get this ukulele. She never played one before. It is easy to use, so she was able to teach herself by watching YouTube videos. She has been using it for over a year now and it still is working well. Due to heavy usage, it lost a little of shine, but this is still a great instrument for the price I paid.I would not recommend it for people that have experience, but for beginners, it is perfect.

For beginners only. Essentially a toy.
OVERVIEW: This is not a "musical instrument." It's a toy.The front is made of plastic, with a sticker or print or something made to look like wood. The sides and back are just black plastic - they didn't even try there. The strings are made of the standard nylon, but heavy and clumsy. It sounds deeper than a soprano ukulele should be, and it only holds tuning for about an hour, after being settled for a while. You may be wondering: why is this review four stars then? Answer: because all those cons are exactly what I expected when I bought it. I just wanted to make sure people knew about this before purchase. This is excellent for a cheap ukulele. It's terrible quality, but considering, the sound isn't TOO far off. For cheap, this is actually a nice product to get. I'd almost say it's a bargain. For me, I didn't know if I would be good at ukulele. I didn't know if I would quit two days in. Knowing this, I bought a cheapo one just so I could see. And this ukulele served me well, for the time I used it. I've since grown out of it - bought a pretty hardwood one instead - but this one was an important step in getting there. It was pretty good.ACCESSORIES: It comes with a cloth carrying case with a strap, which is nice. The stickers for decoration are cheesy, square, and awful, so I didn't use them. I just scratched song lyrics into the surface instead. The little book with chords is nice, and I played with that for about a day until swiftly moving on to googling chords to songs I wanted to learn. The "strap" for holding the ukulele up is completely worthless in my humble opinion. Like. So bad. Don't even try honestly. I three mine away. The tuner doesn't come with batteries and takes some kind of watch battery, and considering that I could download a free tuner app, I just ditched that too.In conclusion, awful quality. Not denying that. But even so, for the price? You're getting something good.

Plastic; the tuner sucks; works fine
The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I thought it was wood from the picture. But, it’s plastic. I probably should have read the description lmao. But, it works pretty well. Sounds like a ukulele. The tuning keeps falling out of place very quickly, but my sister said that’s probably because the strings are still stretching. The tuner kinda… sucks. It’s so hard to see the screen on it, because its screen is essentially stuck on eternal darkness. You have to angle it just right to see what note you’re playing. It lights up green when you’ve hit just right, though. All in all. Probably good for practice and seeing if you like the instrument. Good for kids and beginners at a low price. But… definitely feels more like a toy than an instrument when I’m holding it. Probably better off spending an extra $10-15 to get a different one, though.

she loved it, she was so happy that she screamed ...
A Christmas gift for our daughter, she loved it, she was so happy that she screamed when she opened it. It looks even better in person, it's not solid wood but it is very sturdy. It's smooth and beautiful? It came with a tuner , the tuner can also be used to tune a guitar, cello, and violin, it just clips on whatever you're tuning and turns at any angle you need or prefer. This ukulele came with everything pictured. It's really nice even if you're not a beginner . Kangaroo Manufacturing lots of wonderful products for musicians. Our daughter is extremely happy with her gift and worth every smile, scream while playing her ukulele.

Very good for small children
My grandson wanted one, so we Researched alot of them and found this one, he loves it and practices it, good size for him, the strap was nice for him and also easy to play. The appearance was good. The strings are nice especially for his fingers.
