Seche Clear Professional Kit, Crystal Clear Base Coat for Nail Polish, 4 oz & 0.5 oz Refill

This is probably the best base/top coat I have ever used on my nails. It wears really well without chipping & gives plenty of shine.

This stuff is awesome!! I used to use Prolana Nail Optimizer - I used that for many years - but I can't find it anymore and if I do, it is VERY expensive. So I did a search for something similar and Seche came up so I thought I would give it a try and low and behold - BETTER than Nail Optimizer and it is reasonably priced! I do my own nails - and I needed something that is a good top coat that dries fast and hardens nails - THIS is the product!! I'm happy I found something that works!!

I love the gel top coat , so I ordered the base along with the top coat , this product is the best polish ive used in 15 years.

What can I say? This stuff is fantastic for getting your nails done fast. It dries very fast for you to begin slappin' your color on. I will say that this in tandem with Seche Vite isn't as strong as some other formulas. I get about 4 days of wear out of the combination where as I'll get about 7 days of wear out of OPI's base/top coat, but that takes approximately 4 times as long for it to set... and besides, after 7 days, my nails have grown out enough for the color to have some distance from the cuticle so it doesn't look good anyway. I've not experienced any nail "yellowing" or discoloring while using it, but that'd only really happen to me if I was using super cheap base coat (or not using a base at all). This set is nice because it comes with the standard 0.5 oz bottle as well as a 4 oz. refill bottle and funnel. The refill bottle is glass and the package doesn't have much in the way of protection of the contents. Mine didn't come wrapped in anything to protect it further, but it arrived just fine (a bottle of Seche Restore didn't survive from a previous shipment though and is packaged similarly).

I love this base coat! It's goes on silky smooth, protects your nails, and has a great brush. This refillable set is a fantastic price. I haven't found a Seche product I don't like. Recommended with confidence.

I really like the Seche line. I have been using the top coat for over a year now. The base coat is great also. I have never had a color bleed under the coat. And it definitely helps the color to look more smooth. It comes off easily. Overall, it works really well. An issue that I find in functionality is that it can peel off rather easiy, especially once you have a few coats on befween the base, color polish, and the top coat. The other complaint I have is that the smell when applying is pungent, but the smell does go away quickly, so you just have to tolerate it for while you are applying. Once completely dry, I wash my hands to make sure that any residual from the polish is off my fingers, esp prior to eating anything.

I won’t ever buy another clearcoat again. This one is the best that I’ve ever gotten.
