Grant Writing For Dummies

I want to try and seek some grants for my 55+ age Home Owners Association. We have wetlands and aging structures...and if I can find a few dollars to put toward managing and repairs it would be very helpful. Book is easy to read, well organized and seems to have good common sense tips.

Textbook arrived quickly and in the expected condition.

Great addition to my library. Was very helpful for a class and for research. Like how easy this version is to read. This book was recommended to me and I will recommend it to others.

Oh my gosh!! There is so much to learn about writing a grant. My daughter and I bought a farm in Mississippi recently. We have big plans which calls for big money. I stupidly thought, just write a grant. Well, holy cow, there’s way more to it than I thought. This book has loads of information, but I found the amount of information daunting. So, my plan is to break it down into smaller doses and gear it to the grant writing I need to focus on. I’m sure it will be much easier that way. A great reference book to keep on my shelf for years to come.

I read the relevant sections before writing our nonprofit’s business plan. This text is easy to read, and is filled with insights from not only an experienced writer, but also from several ‘angels’ of the kind that a business plan is often written for. Even at points where I deviated from the author’s guidance because of our somewhat atypical priorities and circumstances, I was mindful. I would recommend this book for both newbies and experienced writers alike.

When you want to learn a new skill and don't know where to start... the "For Dummies" books have always gotten me motivated. Easy to understand format and just the right amount of detail to get an overview of things requiring deeper study. Very helpful!

Granting writing is hard and this book makes it easier. Great reference book.

The book is a great start in your journey of grant writing. Explains the basics and where to find other useful resources.Note that it does have a bias for American funding organizations but still great for understanding the general process.My major issue was that the printing quality was poor. Every second page was printed with less ink, so it's quite faint, and difficult to read. Wish I sent it back for a proper printed version.Overall, excellent reading material, but poor printing quality
