Easy Classical French Horn Solos: Featuring music of Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, Handel and other composers

I'm getting back to the horn after some years away. The musical selection gives me some "exciting'" challenges.

After 50 years without playing, I needed a slow intro when I picked my horn back up. It's ALMOST slow enough, but it's not the fault of the author that I am so out of practice. The pieces are simple and recognizable, and I hope will get me back where I need to be so I can at least join the local community orchestra!

This is a nice little book and I'll use it with my students. It goes up above the staff and has too many long phrases to really be easy.When I read through it I suspected this book was not written by a horn player. If you search on the author's name you'll find he has written books on guitar and ukelele.Is it worth 10 bucks with free shipping? Eh.

This book is perfect for dedicated beginners in the french horn! It has some songs that you will most definitely recognize like Vivaldi's Spring. You feel like you accomplish something when playing most songs from the book but be warned. You need to be pretty skilled so about a year of practice or if you practice a lot then at minimum one-half year.

My son loved it, I wish it had a piano part to play with.

French horn beginner solo book. For a early beginner. It is never to early to start solo training. Keeps your students interested! Good Book but it is for early beginners!

Was expecting more that single page pieces but should be ok. Picking up Horn after 35 years. Feels good! Thanks

A great book - I enjoy using it!!! It is just as described. The famous classical melodies are written in the easy-playing middle range of the French horn. A great value.

ho acquistato l'edizione per kindle ma con rammarico ho notato che 'ebook non si puo stampare perchè protetto.(ma se l'ho comprato perchè deve essere protetto?) Trattandosi di spartiti musicali quindi risulta molto difficile leggerli sul pc mentre si suona.
