Old one was pretty damaged so I was unsure if a new one would still fit but this fit in perfect including the ring that was included

This gas gauge Works well. Fairly easy to install. Keep it out of the sun. It kills the plastic lens.

It's on Kawasaki bayou perfectly

Fogged up within a week and no longer works. Shows empty despite tank being 3/4 full. Seller reached out and agreed to replace gauge. I was appreciative that he tried to fix the issue. However, the replacement did the same thing within a few days and also reads empty with a half tank. Design is too short to reach the bottom of the tank for an accurate reading.

This fit perfect in a Kawasaki 300 Bayou 4x4 , take the old retainer ring off of the old gas gauge with a flat screwdriver , pry it off gently by placing the flat screwdriver tip between the surface of the old gauge and the underside of the retainer ring , it'll come off . Then simply remove the old gauge by pulling it straight up and a little twist , it's held in by O-Ring seals on the gauge stem . Then put the new gauge back in its place , make sure it's seated down , then put the new retainer on over the gauge . 5 min process !!!!

Now I can tell how much gas is in tank

Installed this in a 96 Bayou 400 and it fit great. Gauge appears to be close. Locking ring sits a little loose, more loose than Id like it to be but has never come off. And it doesn't leak fuel anymore. Good aftermarket parts for an old model Kawi.

Why make a product that Last an houre I soon as I as instaled it, the plastic glass has became white . bytheway the lenght is not right those gages only read half a tank.
