If you don't want to mess around programming a universal remote, and you have a Skyworth TV; this one worked for me as soon as I added AAA batteries.PS: If you can't find the manual on/off switch on your TV*, try feeling around on the back of the left corner (TV screen facing you) for a small round button... it works like a joy stick. One long hold to turn on/off, quick tap to access source list, up/down to pick source, long hold to exit source list, left/right for volume, and up/down to change channels.*When my remote broke, I couldn't find the button to save my life! 😂 Five hours later I finally found my owner's manual, but I didn't see/find it just by looking.

Neat little remote
I bought this as a replacement for the remote I had due to my dog chewing the other one. It works good sometimes it feels like it lags a little but other than that not to bad of a remote.
