Q: is the dome glass or plastic? i want to know if it's breakable :)

It’s plastic. It is an excellent product. My granddaughter had so much fun putting it together. It came out beautiful and the lights added the extra magic. I would highly recommend this item.

Q: What kind of batteries does it take?

2 double A. Also came with 2 strands of lights one took the double A and the other looks like it takes one of those small watch batteries (which was included but only lasted about 2 nights)

Q: Is there a light switch on the outside of the globe or do you have to take it apart to turn off the Light?

The twinkle lights are on a string. So you place the lights around the globe and run the string under the globe so the battery pack and switch is on the outside. (You do not have to take it apart to switch on and off)

Q: Can we put our small dolls inside?

The center of the dome is only 3 inches tall, so your doll would have to be less than 3 inches tall.
