Good Choice
Better than expected. It's mass and durability make a great property maker.

Good for marking the survey marker (pipe) of a lot line.
Great for marking the survey marker (pipe) that designates the lot line. Easy to find even in tall grass and stays into the ground and able to mow over it without worrying about the blades hitting it.

FANTASTIC!
WHY didn't we get this marker twenty years ago? Each time we've had the septic pumped, just finding the lid some vague 'somewhere' in the yard, buried under turf, has taken almost as long as the pumping itself-- a real exercise in frustration. This spike marks the spot perfectly: level to the ground, so no need to worry about mowing or tripping; very sturdy; bright color; and magnetic enough to easily locate the septic lid even if grass grew over the top of the spike. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Great marker
Just installed these markers. They are very strong. I used a rubber mallet to pound them in. The lines fit underneath the head so as to protect it. Fast delivery. Very good product. I did order the plastic ones last year from another source. Those cracked in no time and I did cut a line this spring. These are worth the money.

Solid Product That Does What’s Intended.
We have some of “those” neighbors (yeah, that kind), and needed a survey done so that we could start planting a privacy/sound-barrier/smell-barrier hedge of bamboo. As we also live in Florida, we have to mow regularly, and wood stakes would fall apart after one rainy season. Normal, above-ground stakes would be constantly in the way (and have had a tendency to get trampled). These seem to be the perfect solution for all of the above reasons. Seem solidly made and should do the job. I’ll add updates if there are any issues after they are in the ground for a while. The four stars is because I think they are a little pricey, but the quality is good. I took pics beside a ruler and mechanical pencil for size reference.

That at least we have them in the dirt so we know how to find them
They’re fine to use in the ground around your property, but have to use a metal detector to find them again. The grass grows and they seem to sink down into the dirt.

Work well.
Heavy duty, look good after driven into rocky soil (with a rubber mallet).

Exactly as advertised
The two low profile survey stakes I ordered were an excellent replacement for the long wooden sticks that the survey company planted into our lawn. They are extremely heavy duty and the cap is green which blends in perfectly with the grass.

Too expensive for what you get
Only 1 per package and thought there were 4. My mistake but my comment is at $40 a stake, way too expensive. I will return for a refund.
