It writes smoothly and is good value for money. It comes with 5 refills, a 5-refill pen holder and a bonus black pen/stylus. The bonus pen was a nice surprise: the ink was smooth, and the stylus worked well on my touch-screen laptop, tablet, and phone.

For the past couple months, I’ve been using this pen EVERY SINGLE DAY at my job as an inpatient nurse in the hospital. My patient assignments are never less than 4 but never more than 5, so at the beginning of my shift, during report, each patient gets one color assigned to them.Any notes or reminders I write down regarding one patient is in their assigned color. It makes it so easy to sort through the thousand different tasks and little nuggets of information that get scribbled down in between patient care- because I can just scan my one scratch paper for a specific color when I am going back to look for information I wrote down earlier.I’m also left handed so it is difficult for me to find a gel pen that doesn’t smear, but holy cow this ink dries INSTANTLY. I don’t think you could smudge it if you tried.And I am one of those weird people who holds their writing utensils with two fingers and my thumb which leads to cramping and extra stress compared to the proper way you’re supposed to hold it- wide barreled pens relieve that tension and make for a pain free writing experience even when writing for extended periods of time.Please, please I beg whoever produces this to keep making them and in stock for when I need refills (which I haven’t yet, still going strong after FREQUENT use for 4ish months).

Great colors, smooth writing despite the extra fine pen. Wish the switching mechanism worked a little more smoothly, it tends to get jammed, and that they offered these in a medium tip. For reference fine tip in USA is typically .5 mm, medium is .7mm & bold is .9mm. These are .38mm, which is standard fine in Japan or ultra fine here.

Great quality all around. Ink colors are so pretty and it writes like a dream. I love how easy it is to replace or swap colors, and there are a lot of different refill colors available.

For my needs, this is perfect. Instead of high liters, I’ll be using colored ink to underline/write with/color code in my journal/schedule.I like the way this writes a lot. Smooth for a .38mm
