My 6th graders prepared slides with great pond water specimens. Glass cover slips may break easily but at least you can see through them. Plastic ones instantly get scratched up

Functional value

Good value for the money for mounting chironomids and oligochaetes. But you can tell these are lower-quality slides compared to better American-made slides. These are basically disposable microscope slides.
