This is amazing device for the people who have a lot of data to transfer etc but one thing they should add C-Type.

I use this as an inexpensive dock for external storage used in video editing (not for cloning). I have two large 5400rpm 3.5" NAS drives plugged in and the operate at full read/write speeds of the drives. I have them configured for redundancy. Probably one of the least expensive and flexible ways to add a large amount of external storage. I also really like the SD card readers and 2 USB 3 ports (it's why I chose this dock over others). I can easily plug other devices in to this dock sitting on my desk. Will update review if I have any long-term problems. Unlike other reviewers, I will not be using a software raid (which can corrupt drives if one of the 2 go out of sync or disconnect) and will not be using the clone feature. Mine is simply connected as two volumes/drives. It should be noted the drives are held in place by gravity and the SATA connectors. Therefore, I suspect a sudden jolt or even some slight forces on the drives could cause one to disconnect while on. It would be nice if these came with a "lid" to protect the drives while in place.
