I have a medical condition where I am stuck in bed quite a bit. I got this same tray in Sams a couple years ago but they have stopped carrying it. I love it so much I’ve been searching for another for my mother by the same brand and finally found it. I got the large size. I use it for eating in bed and also as a desk. I have also used it at the sofa with no problems. When the legs are in use they don’t wobble or collapse and when folded up they stay in place while carrying it. That’s why I wanted to make sure I got the same brand because not all are made equally well. I think I’ll also get a smaller version for myself for times when a larger surface isn’t necessary. If you are on the fence give it a try I’ll think you’ll love it

I order this mainly cause I eat in my recliner due to back problems. I was looking for something high enough so it did not rest in my legs. This table is perfect. I also likecthat it has an area to place whatever you want, like: cell phone, remote control, pens, writing pads, etc.What worries me, or I dislike, is that one of the legs is too loose, and the other is hard to lower/extend. I tried to tighten up the loose leg, but it does not stay right for too long.I still enjoy it for many things and not only for eating. Like, crafting, jewelry making, checking bills, etc, etc.

I bought the stunning Espresso Bamboo version and I was so excited and ready to love this...however, I was disappointed and ended up returning. I think the quality and sturdiness seem fantastic and I love that these have foldable legs, the tray edge, and section for other items (i.e., phone, tablet, etc) and this is really a distinction in comparison to many other options out there so I hope your take away is that you ought to get it if considering purchasing this. However, its unfair and misleading when companies do this - why on earth depict an item that isn't the same as the one you're actually selling? Unless there was a mistake, I genuinely do not understand or agree with their idea of selling the Espresso Bamboo version with this nice warm glossy wood tone shown in the images only for a dull, dingy ashy brown that's more like black to arrive. I hope I got an incorrect one. Thankfully I didn't realize how large the Large version really is (not too large you can't use it on your lap but it was just too big to be comfortable for my use on a couch and I'm sure it'd be fine if you wanted to use it as a tray in bed or on a counter) and so I was returning primarily due to a size preference but also largely in part due to the inaccurate photos of the true color/tone. I will be purchasing the Medium option in Espresso Bamboo again and hope for a better experience because I think this is a very affordable and luxurious option out of its competitors but I hope that the seller sees this and rectifies the mistake in the poor ashy brown that shouldn't be this way. If I receive the other version and keep it I'll take a photo and readjust my review. Overall I still think its worth purchasing and is a great option but if you, like me, had wanted the warm glossy brown, I would instead opt for another color until they fix it

Bought this for upcoming surgery prep - for first week or so - but this feels decadent. It's so practical - using it now. Good to not have laptop actually on my legs. It's so good for posture and it's kinda fancy/classy. One thing I've learned shopping my brains out on Amazon, is I'll never regret being good to myself. This is a purchase I should have made years ago. I rarely give 5 stars, but this product deserves it. Bravo.
