Highly recommend.
So pleased with this. It came with a plastic tool to squeegee the soapy water out from under the film as you apply it and a blade to trim it.I fitted a new window and the view into my neighbours bathroom and bedroom necessitated it to be frosted. As a listed building we were prohibited from fitting frosted glass but this is technically temporary.Easy to fit and looks so good it could easily be genuine frosted glass.

Not fit for large windows...don’t waste your money!
What a waste of time and money! I’m used todecorating with mural stickers and so am experienced in application and removing bubbies but seriously...this stuff is useless. Fine, I imagine if you want to do relatively small pieces but large windows...forget it! Attempt 1 - Followed the instructions to a tee for the first roll on a big window so removing the bubbles was difficult and, in parts seemed to leave almost scratch marks Attempt 2 - upon removing bubbles the film popped in one area leaving a small hole, very noticeable when its frosted and the glass begin isn’t Attempt 3 - couldn’t even use the second roll as when I unrolled it there were so many creases the film had lines across it in the folds which wouldn’t come out. Binned the lot...wish I’d gone with my first choice of frosted spray!

Very Opaque but a little tricky to put up
The end result is good from a privacy / opacity point of view exactly as hoped. You cant see anything more than overall light levels through it which is ideal. The downside is that when i removed the protective paper there was unexpectedly from what the online instructions said, a layer of glue which made it quite hard to put up without it getting stuck to itself and in the wrong position. A tip which is obvious with hindsight is once you think youve cut it to shape, put it up with the paper still on before you tremove it to check the fit & you will prob need a bit more margin around the edges it than you think. I was fitting this to a sloping attic window which was very tricky. took about twenty attempts to get it on without it getting stuck to itself or the wrong place. it sustained some permanent creases during this process but nothing fundamental. I think without the glue this would have been far easier. Id use this again as im sure it will be easier a second time..

Works fine if the rolls okay and not creased !!!!
I have bought this product twice first time when using it was a breeze followed advice from other reviews of using hot soapy water and it was no bother to fit onto panels of a glass door.Worked so well i ordered another roll to do a second door when fitting the roll was creased meaning it would not stick properly and you can see the fold lines. Possibly a poor roll but not the first to leave a review similar.

Effective product
We bought this as a temporary window covering whilst we were renovating and redecorating our home. The frosted glass look provided soft, natural light during the day and excellent obscurity even with the lights on inside at night. After cleaning the windows with a vinegar based window cleaning spray from the supermarket, we measured and cut the product to the approximate window size with a margin allowance of approx 2.5cm / 1 inch on all sides for alignment / errors. We got the best results by spraying the windows with warm water from a plant mister spray until the window pane was quite wet all over.Next we peeled the backing paper back approx 10 cm / 4 inches, then eased it into position on the window remembering to leave a small margin at the top and sides. The product has a strong adhesive, but the water allows you to manoeuvre it on the window.Using the plastic tool provided, we worked any air bubbles towards the edges. Sometimes a diagonal direction dispersed stubborn bubbles more effectively than vertical / horizontal movements.Patience and plenty of water on the window at this stage pays off.We found that using the plastic tool held at a shallow angle to the window and applying gentle even pressure was most effective. We also found that working from the centre of the section towards the edges helped. We completed the first section removing all the bubbles before peeling the next part of the backing paper down another 10 cm / 4 inches. We found working in smaller sections created less bubbles and that they were easier to disperse. Also, it allowed us to respray the window with more water if it had dried out. We repeated this process several times until we got to the end of the window pane.Next, using the plastic tool, we pressed the product into all corners of the window. The margins start to stick out at this stage.Using the plastic tool to hold the product tight to the window edges / corners we gently run the cutting tool provided in between the edges / corners of the window and the plastic tool. We found we got the best edge to edge coverage this way.We kept a cloth handy to mop up any excess water to prevent damage to paintwork / windowsill as we worked. Can't comment on how easy it is to remove as we are still renovating.

If you get a good roll it's great for your money
If you havent done this kind of thing before it can be a little difficult to put up as it being so thick, first try I got so many bubbles but I just used a craft knife to poke a little hole in the bottom of the bubbles to flatten them out. Measuring is quite difficult using the grids on the back so one doesn't completely fit but will do. The adhesion is good but because of the material it doesn't crease or damage easily so be careful pulling of if moving it. Once you have the first one on it's fairly easy my tip would be start at the top but only peel a section off the top, scrape down in sections that way you dont get bubbles. I used soapy water but with a tiny bit of soap as soap is a slippery substance. I would recommend and buy again as I need more for other windows.
