Is this simply a rename of the classic "Creamy Chocolate" or something different?

This coffee-mate creamer has a richer chocolate taste than the classic chocolate creamer. So I would have to say it's definately different from the classic chocolate creamer.

What is the expiration date on this item?

I tossed the box & keep the individual packs in a bowl on my kitchen counter & there is no expiration date on the packs. I've kept them for months without a problem.

Now if I buy what expiration date I get?

When I got them they had a long exp date...plenty of time to use it all

i was given some and mine has white pieces floating in it that float to the top of the coffee, is it no good?

It's a fairly regular thing to happen because the oils can separate from the caseinate. If you're worried put some hot water in a mug and pool one in if it's in chunks it's no good anymore. My dad taught me that test but I will also say that they stay good much longer than they are 9 months or 4 months expiration date, whatever it says on the box. Unless the tops are bowed over up in the air they should still be fine. I had a box for a year-and-a-half and still used them without issue. People these days of far too worried about expiration dates when they only expiration date required by law is baby formula.
