Very informative
Love the MIT essential series. Although a couple of years old this is great foundational material and cloud computing. I have several other books in the series and they’re all great references. Even as an engineer I find these useful.

good intro as first intro to cloud computing but lacks depth for anyone familiar with concepts
good b business oriented overview of core concepts like virtualization, deployment models, pricing models, patterns. Philosophical aspects are covered in the last chapter at a high level. It may be OK book for the essentials series but I think it lacks the depth.
