Love this little snowblower. It is amazing.
I read many of the reviews on Amazon and watched the videos for this little snowblower before purchasing it. I wanted to buy one last year. We are in our late 50s and shoveling is getting more difficult. It works amazing, exactly as the videos show and the positive reviews state. We absolutely love this little snowblower! As some people mention, You should keep it inside. They said it won’t work if the batteries cold or the snowblower is cold. We decided to keep it inside our front door for the few months of winter we have here. I bought a small plastic tray to keep it on, the kind you would keep in the bottom of a dog crate. It fits perfectly.Assembly was easy. It is lightweight. Make sure you tighten the bolts for the shoot assembly. The first time I used it they weren’t tightened enough and the shoot would not stay in place. Once we adjusted it it was fine. Also, do not push down too much on the shoot. I did that the first time using it and it came away from a small lip that holds it in place. It was easy enough to fix just annoying. We have used it 2x this winter and are extremely happy with it. Even my husband loves it. He was skeptical about buying it, but absolutely loves it too.

Lightweight and it works!
Snow finally arrived and I put this unit to work. I was impressed how well it worked, and it's very quiet as well. It throws snow about 8-10 feet forward, which is perfect because I have a small parking deck to clear and I don't want to throw snow onto my neighbor's area. It's lightweight, easy to carry from the garage to the parking area, and easy to maneuver. I noticed two criticisms in other reviews as I was deciding on this model and I want to address. First, you do have to snap the battery into place and it does take come force to do so, but once you see the retaining latch snap into place, the battery will never pop out. Second, someone mentioned that they had to hold the release button and the operating lever at the same time, which obviously makes for a very uncomfortable effort. No, once you push in the release button and squeeze the operating lever, you do not have to deal with the release button again. I can completely clear all the snow in my parking area now in under 10 minutes, whereas it took 30-45 minutes by shovel. I am very pleased with this unit and I can recommend it without hesitation. My area is small, I wouldn't recommend this unit for a large or long driveway. But it's perfect for 300 to 500 sq ft.

works ok has design flaws
Its a pretty good machine with some design flaws. The schute clogs very easily and the battery only lasts about 20 minute so I can only do about half of my driveway and walks on a charge.I bought a second battery wich is a 4amp even that only goes about a half hour.It reduces my shoveling time and I like that.ENGINEERS LISTEN! The schute is too far away from the blade throwing snow forward instead of in the schute wasting energy. It also would benefit from a slighly stronger motor as it bogs down in less than 4 inches of snow. It also needs a better seal or just a different battery compartment location. It works but could be way better with a couple design changes. When you get this figured out send me a new one.

5 stars for customer service
I live in colorado and just planned on using this for lighter snow under 6 inches as I knew this was a lighter model. It did the job fine and for some reason after only a couple times it stopped running. I did register the product, so I called customer support hoping it was an easy fix, but apparently the item was just defective. Normally a pain to do returns this big, but the representative was awesome. We went through some steps, but it just wouldn't start up. Was very lightly used so they decided to replace the item. It was shipped quickly and they even gave me an upgraded version with new batteries. They give you an easy process to return the item and I could just reuse the box for the new item. Havent tried the new one yet, but it's a lot more heavy duty and much nicer. Appreciated!!

Bad craftsmanship + very complicated to assemble
I have put a lot of things together in my day but this is by far the most complicated thing I have every tried to piece together. I am 2 hours and had to take apart and re-assemble 3 times and nothing seems to work. In the instructions it shows how a j-bolt is supposed to lock the handle in place using 2 holes but the handle only has one pre-drilled. I’m assuming could start drilling my own holes to try and get this thing actually functional but I’m just going to send back as the quality is VERy poor to say the least and this was the most expensive out of the options I looked at.

Easy to use, does the job
I bought this to clear off composite decking because they are the front and back entrances to our house. It’s very light weight and easy to use. I am an older woman, who’s pretty strong, but just couldn’t shovel anymore. I would recommend this. I cleaned two decks and a small path without running out of battery. I tried it after a 6 inch snow storm in Maine, regular snow, not the light fluffy stuff.

Great Snowblower; Make Sure You Get the Battery All the Way In
Though not very wide, this snowblower was a good size for our driveway, and wasn't too big to store easily. Assembly was simple with good instructions, and it started right up when I first used it.It works smoothly, is very quiet, and does a great job so long as the snow isn't too deep. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is that the battery has some difficulty locking into place. If you don't push it down all the way, the snowblower will start, but will sporadically shut off as the vibrations from it working cause the battery to disconnect. Once I was aware of this issue, it became less of a problem, but I shouldn't have to put so much weight on the battery when putting it into its slot to get it to lock in place.

So far very pleased
Just finished putting the unit together and it was quite easy with clear and easy to understand directions. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but approximately 4 years ago we bought the small corded Snow Joe and if this is made anything like that one, it’s going to outlast me. Trying to be a good neighbor, I blew the snow off the neighbors driveway but couldn’t see the water shut off valve protruding under the snow and I hit it. A bit later I hit the hitch on their utility trailer also buried under snow. Both times the unit stopped working but was still operational. I have also hit the extension cord a couple of times and now it has a bit of vibration but still works just fine. Other neighbor used it while we were away last winter and it stopped working for him. Tested it after we returned and it still works. I suspect he pushed it too much and the motor probably has a thermal cut off switch which activated. Looking forward to seeing how this works as snow is expected Sunday. Estimated delivery was January 10 to 22 and it came January 5.

It works. Nothing special about it
I wish it were easier to push. Also, the battery has to be forced past the handle. The handle should be recessed away from the battery opening
