Creative Haven Dreamscapes Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

I just recently discovered (or shall I say re-discovered) my love for coloring and all things art. Before I got this Adult Coloring Book Id gotten two others, one that was great and the other...not so much. I have tried getting coloring books with very different designs and themes to see which I like more- I love this one!First let me note the the pages are serrated so you can tear them out- a great option if you want to photo copy a page or keep each page in a book of your own art (I created one with a binder and some slip covers). The paper is thinner than construction paper, but thicker than a regular sheet of paper so any color you use is soaked into the page. I chose to use Prismacolor Colored Pencils but fine tip Sharpies or Prismacolor double tipped markers would do great too- really any medium that allows you to get very detailed and incorporate multiple colors but also color the full design.One Adult Coloring book I purchased either had too intricate of designs or very boring, repetitive ones. This one has neither, entertaining the eye with almost 3 dimensional designs that look almost Dr. Seussian. With just a mix of color you can make a part of the picture stand out or fall into the background because of how it is drawn. The designs leave room for multiple colors if you like to blend but not so much space that you waste a ton of color in one area. They are intricate but in sections so as you tackle each one the picture really comes alive.I am so glad I got this Adult Coloring Book and would recommend it to anyone who loves coloring imaginative, unique designs.

Great! I'm a non-skilled adult at art, but I love coloring books and have been getting kids ones from the dollar tree but they were waaaay to simple, so I decided to search for grown-up coloring books (DO NOT search for Adult Coloring books that's something else entirely and personally I think pretty gross! UnlessYour into that) I found these books by Creative Haven and ordered 3 types. I must say since receiving them I've spent hours upon hours coloring. Each one is a bit of a challenge and very time consuming. I've honestly been so hooked on this and the other books from Creative haven that I have stayed up all night well past sunrise coloring (no I do not have a job, or kids, or a life just fortunate enough I can color all night) on a few occasions. I'm so pleased with these books! They have a website with tons more available and I plan to purchase quite a many more! The creativity is amazing! Buy This Book!

I throughly enjoyed this adult coloring book. I have 3 sons between the ages of 2 and 8. We sit down and color and talk often, so for mom (me) it was nice to be able to color something other than Mickey Mouse!I also found myself drawn to pull out this book after the kids went to bed. I put some soft jazz on, poured a glass of wine and sat down and lost myself in this book.I highly recommend if your looking to just breathe and turn your mind off!

This book is pretty good. The images are pretty cool and printed on one side of the page. The paper is perforated which is standard for Creative Haven books. I have several books by Miryam Adatto because I like her drawing style. Most of the images take up most of the page so there is a lot to color. If you like the cover, you will probably like the book. Great for the price too.

Creative Haven coloring books never fail to impress! Pages range from moderately to insanely complex. Be prepared to let your imagination run wild. Limited only by the amount of colors you own. CH books are so nice because of the texture of the paper and the easy perforation so can pull a page and attach to an easel or clipboard so no worries about ink bleed-through. FYI the picture is fro m CH Steampunk Designs...haven't done a page from Dreamscapes yet.

I had a hard time jumping into a book like this. However, I just completed a picture and found it to be very enjoyable. My difficulty was not coloring in a self-perceived pattern. I had to "let go". Thus, I've screwed up a couple of pages. I found a page to try again and just finished twelve hours of a fantastically freeing picture. This book will be fun for colorists of any level.

Another drawing/coloring book I bought to give away for Christmas, I have looked through the pages and love the peaceful, gorgeous scenes inside. I bought several of the drawing books but this one is the one I would have kept for myself. If you like drawing with colored pencils, this book is perfect for relaxing after work or for relaxing for a few minutes before bed.

I love these coloring books. It is a great way to relax for adults and older children. My main complaint about these is that sometimes the pages are difficult to tear out. I have lost a few pages due to the perforated edges not tearing correctly. Other than that, Creative Haven is my go-to brand for advanced coloring pages.

I love Miryam Adatto's drawings. Such fun to colour.

This is the best colouring book we have used - better than the Secret Garden by a long shot.We like that the paper is thick and smooth, that the designs are on one side, and that the pages are perforated and pull out easily. We tend to colour them as individual sheets, and not inside the book.We use sharpie pens, both fine point and regular, and found that the ink does bleed through so you need to colour with something underneath to protect your table surface. What is very interesting is the bleed through design looks amazing - sometimes even more so than the 'right' side of the page.We love this book so much we have ordered another one from the same producer. I highly recommend this for adult, or older children, colouring.

Dibujos bastantes cutres, o demasiados pequeños, calidad deficiente del papel. No me ha gustado nada, pero como me costo menos de 3€ ni lo he devuelto.
