They don't last too long
You get 2 bowls in 1 order, I got red and blue. I used the red one for 3 weeks before the black ring around the top broke off. That ring is what allows you to attach the bowl to the leash with the carabiner. The ring is a stiffer plastic than the bowl itself. It should last more than 3 weeks. So I switched to the blue one. Within 2 weeks, the carabiner broke. I now use the carabiner from the red one on the blue one to have a working and attachable bowl. These should not break so quickly. Neither of the bowls themselves developed a problem but the ring and carabiner should not have broken so quickly.

First three months of use has been flawless
I've been using these for water for my two 70lb dogs during hikes for 3 months now. I keep them on the carabiner hanging off of my backpack and I open and collapse them probably about 5-20 times per week, depending upon how often we go hiking. They have been holding up much better than the previous ones I had purchased, keeping their shape, and being ease to open and close. They are lightweight and a perfect size with which to water a 70lb dog.

Lost two in less than a week - poor quality clips
We had another bowl before this that lasted months and we only bought these because the other was used, opened and closed, so much that the plastic started to crack and leak water. Two of these bowls and they were only drank from once because the cheap clips meant they were lost almost immediately. The bowls themselves are nice. We bought them to clip to our pup’s leash so we could give him a drink on a walk. We clipped one to his leash and put one away as spare. We got home from a walk a couple of days after receiving the bowls and realised the bowl had fallen off somewhere and was lost. Okay maybe that was our fault, and hey we had a spare. Clipped the second on and lost almost straight away. We received August 27. By September 3, both had been lost due to the clips not working as they’re supposed to. Cheap to buy but still a waste of money.

Easy travel and on-the-go for my dog
These collapse/open -- popping in/out -- fast and easy. I like the carabiner for easy attachment to a water bottle, backpack, or leash handle. These were smaller than I imagined, but that still works for my medium breed dog (40lb female husky). I need to refill water often but that ensures she always has fresh, clean water to drink. Less to get dirty (especially at campsite) and tip over from a human or canine bumping into it. Ideally a bigger bowl would be better for my dog, but my family plans on getting a smaller breed some day. I have used larger collapsible bowls to take along on day-hikes, but my dog only drinks a small amount of time, so I ended up wasting water that way. This small size allows me to pour enough that she will drink during rest-stops.
