If you are the proud owner (or otherwise) of the Quest II (possibly 3?) this is an accessory I view is mandatory to truly deliver on the promise of a Virtual Experience. That is, an experience uninterrupted by premature battery drains, uncomfortable default visor fit, unruly cables (if used) and a better fitting headset overall.This Strap w/battery really does make a difference when pondering whether or not to take out and use the Quest device. It just reduces the hassles of putting it on, adjusting it, etc. It becomes a more 2nd nature / muscle memory thing vs. recreating the wheel.Strongly recommended as a required accessory as much as a hand controller.

Such an improvement from the original straps. These are sturdy and they balance the weight for young necks. Less pulling forward with weight of occulus alone. Easy size adjustment for others with a dial crank instead of straps and velcro! We're very happy! Definitely doubled the battery life

I bought this as part of a bundle when I purchased the Quest 2 and I'm glad I did. It does more than just provide extra time in the VR world it also provides a bit of counter balance to the headset itself. It's more comfortable than I thought it would be and it's easy to install. Definite Plus if you want extended time immersing yourself in the world of Virtual Reality. The ratcheting knob on the back makes it easy to adjust to you head size. The pics show it fully open, fully closed and the ratcheting knob on the back.

The Elite Strap with battery is a good option for most people. I've been using it for 2-years and there have been no mechanical or battery issues. It's well constructed, durable. Yet where this head strap unit fails some is in fitness games. I've used both the default face cover and a silicon cover designed for sports to help prevent slippage, yet as I perspire the unit starts to slide down my nose. So I crank the knob in the back tighter -- which tightens both front to back and side to side, which for my large head the side pressure is uncomfortably tight. I expect for most people the side to side tightening will not be an issue. If I loosen the strap some it's much more comfortable, yet loosening the unit is not effective when the game requires movement. And as many have noted, the price is very high.

literally the only thing this can be used for is a counter balance for the VR. The battery does not last long and the rubber piece in the back brakes down quick too. They should make it to last. I am not buying another one. I'll Jerry rig this sucker to use as a counter balance until the cows come home before I buy another at over $100. Ridiculous.

I made this purchase because the standard battery life for the Oculus Quest 2 is subpar. I felt like I couldn't have any extended gaming session without having to plug my headset in and stand near the charger - a completely unintuitive way to play.Installation was very simple. You just unsnap the old head strap from the sides of the Oculus and remove the strap from the loop on top.Additionally, the Elite head strap fits much better on my head and is easier to adjust, thanks to the dial on the rear that you can twist to make it fit perfectly.The extended battery life is great. I wish this was included with the Oculus straight out of the box, but since it isn't, this is the best purchase for those seeking added battery life and comfort.
