Amazing product. We have a newly built home with well water. The toilet tanks had bad mineral build up, mainly iron stains. I left the powder in the reservoir and the toilet over night. Woke up to brand new looking toilets. Very simple to use the product does all the work.

This really works on rust. It doesn’t work on lime stains. We have rust water (well water) and a salt filtering system. The water turns toilet yellow and well as shower, you can imagine what it does to blonde hair. This product really gets rid of toilet and shower yellowing.

This is a great product. We have so much iron in our water and if it weren't for this product I would have had to throw away several items. Be sure to follow the directions explicitly.

This stuff really works. It removes hard water rust stains. The smell is not pleasant, but disappears once the Iron Out is washed away. Easy to use and works quickly.

I used this product to remove rust from our concrete patio area. I wet the area with water and mixed 1.5 cups of the product with 1.5 gallons of water. It says to keep the area wet with the solution until the rust is gone (keep in mind that the area of rust was from an iron patio umbrella base that was moved around a 4 ft. diameter area with dark stains). After 15 minutes It appeared to be about the same. I added another .5 cups of the Iron Out. I keep the area wet and after about 25 minutes the rust just seemed to melt away. After about 50 minutes the rust from the concrete was completely gone. Rinsed off the area with a garden hose and was done. Do this before the sun comes up or in the shade makes the job much easier. Very impressed with this product.

I am sure this product works for some, my experience was a no. Have a rust ring around the drain in my bathroom sink. At least I think it’s rust. I followed the directions on the bottle and did not have success in removing the red/brown ring. It’s possible that it’s lime scale and this simply is the wrong product for what I need. I am not knocking the product, simply sharing that it didn’t help in my situation. I knew it might be a gamble getting it, so am not heartbroken over it.

Wow! Color me impressed! I've lived with well water for the past 16 months and my white cotton undershirts and white terrycloth towels all became orange to the point that I was ready to throw them out and buy now. As a last ditch effort, I gave Iron Out a try and couldn't be happier. I ran two cycles of all my whites with Iron Out, followed by one cycle with hot water and bleach and everything is much better. Interestingly, my four Hanes undershirts are much better but still a little yellow; the other brands of undershirts are now very white (they all looked the same at the start). I'm not sure why, maybe the material is slightly different in the different brands. The terrycloth hand towels look as white as they day I bought them. You can even see how high water level was in the machine's wash tub since all the rust was also removed from the machine as well. I will definitely be adding this to my wash from now on. Iron Out itself doesn't smell that great, but I didn't notice any odor after the cycle was done, so it's not a big deal. It works, and that's what counts.

I did not take a before photo, but the back of my toilet tank was completely orange due to the hard water. I tried pouring vinegar into it as people said but it did nothing unless I scrubbed and even then I cant reach into the corners. I poured half a cup of this stuff as instructed and left it overnight. It bubbled and smelled very badly so just a warning that it smells strongly like sulfur. The next morning all the orange stuff was gone. It even lifted very old orange stains that was stuck to the toilet flapper in the tank. I had to flush many times to get it out but it worked. My only concern is I hope it is not ruining the rubber gaskets inside of the toilet tank. I saw some black stuff coming off them but I am not sure if it was rust or not.

After much research I bought this product - and I was not disappointed. For months I’ve been battling a small rust type stain at the bottom of our toilet bowl. I’ve tried almost everything to remove it, with no joy. This product removed it overnight; I wish I’d found it sooner!! Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Worst ever product bought from Amazon. Spent rs. 1100 for this and a complete waste of money. Won't ever recommend anybody to buy this.can i give Zero rating?
