Indole 3 Carbinol OFF

As a user of DIM, I wanted to try this to see if it had better effects as this is the stuff the body makes DIM out of (DIM being a byproduct). One capsule is one dose of 400 mg. I like that I don’t have to take multiple capsules. They’re medium size and easy enough to take.There’s some controversy as to which is better to take, DIM or this, but for me, DIM was starting to fade a little in terms of effectiveness. Apparently DIM does need to be combined with other specific nutrients in order to maximize effectiveness. With the Indole-3 Carbinol, there are other nutrients already present to help the body process its potential benefits. This isn’t to say that there aren’t multiple ways to go here, but for me, the fewer capsules, the better.Presently, this seems to be helping with my hormones in a positive way with no discernible side effects so I will stick to this over DIM for now.

When I opened the sealed bottle and poured some into my hand, I noticed that there were all different shades of capsules. This would indicate that there is a big variance of ingredient distribution within each capsule. The item was not returnable through Amazon so I reached out to the company longlifenutri twice and they did not respond. However, my happy ending is that Amazon customer service refunded my money.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I have had two days out of five with diarrhea. I did not take last night as I was traveling for business. Anyone else have horrible diarrhea? My OBGYN highly recommended

This product irritated my throat and gastrointestinal tract and also had the strange effect on my nervous system of suddenly requiring extra sleep and, if I didn't get it, I'd get a massive headache and feel like I was coming down with something. I wonder if it contains the impurity called 3-methylindole, as described in a study titled "Single-Dose and Multiple-Dose Administration of Indole-3-Carbinol to Women: Pharmacokinetics Based on 3,3′-Diindolylmethane." The participants only had GI distress while taking an I3C product that contained this impurity, but not so otherwise.I returned the Longlifenutri product and tried Zazzee brand, which doesn't cause quite the same side effects despite basically smellng/tasting the same but a little less pungent (though that brand does give me mild, transient nausea). Admittedly, I'm sensitive and will almost always notice side effects immediately.EDIT: Even the Zazzee brand gave me some of the same issues a few days later. Not as much of a headache or stomach discomfort, but feeling kind of sick immunity-wise and needing more sleep. It seems I3C just isn't a supplement for me, regardless of the brand. Similar but milder issues with broccoli extract and broccoli sprout extract. I'm sticking with DIM and ellagic acid from pomegranate. DIM is a Phase 1 liver detox inducer which needs to be balanced with a Phase 2 inducer like ellagic or sulforaphane.

I really like this product. Many manufacturers and sellers have a tendency to overstate the benefits. However, that is not the case this time because this product really worked for me. I have to give it my highest recommendation. Five stars!

Picture shows white capsules. However, upon opening this container, I found capsules of various colors and some were even empty. No idea what’s actually in these capsules but we stopped taking them. I chose this brand because this supplement was out of stock from my normal supplier.

Estrogen metabolism is important for all of us now I think, as per the microplastics and chemicals in our environment that are estrogenic and confusing to the bodyThis product when I got it seemed a little inconsistent in its integrity but I do not know if this is just the nature of I3C, different colors and constitution varying by each capsule.This isnt the only product they hav that looks a bit inconsistent though and I do not know why this is....Nevertheless, it DOES work for what its used for and likes to be taken with acids for proper processing....this and DIM are where its at....

The pills were varying in colores. They didn't lower my estrogen because they don't dissolve. I pooped them out whole!
