HiyaHiyaKnitSaver Interchangeable Cable with Lifeline Holes, 40, Size Small

I have two of these 40" cables for larger projects. The cables have never kinked or broken on me. I highly recommend the HiyaHiya cables and needles.

2nd update: I bought yet another spare cable and got the new greenish clear one. It’s thinner than the old blue ones but a lot more flexible. I put it to use immediately and I’m delighted! Joins seem very smooth and hold securely. They appear to be as rugged as the originals but have caught up with Chai Goo cables in flexibility. All in all, I think these are a great upgrade to a really fine product.This is an extra cable in a length I use a lot. This one is so I have enough extra cables to hold stitches in two projects at the same time. I love how I can use a cable connector and join the ends for holding sleeve stitches while work the body of a top-down sweater. Then when I am ready to work the sleeves, all I have to do is remove the connector, screw in the needles and go. No slipping or transferring held stitches. Hiyas are high quality and the cables seem flexible enough with smooth joins that don’t come unscrewed if you tighten them properly to begin with.I wanted to address durability of these cables. I have one of these 40” cables from my original 2014 set that is still going strong-No kinks or breaks—and I have used this cable a lot! Their use as stitch holders in WIP is really insidious however. It is so convenient (as I described above) that I keep buying extra cables to use this way. (I have several, but I tend to have a couple projects going at the same time.) still very happy with these needle sets.

Love my HiyaHiya interchangeable needle set. Like to have an extra 40” cable.

I love my Hiya Hiya needles and cables. I ordered my first Hiya Hiya sharps because I love the color of the cables, but I've loved knitting with them and have many Hiya Hiya interchangeables and standalone circulars. Ordered an extra 40" cable for extra projects or to add to another cable for spreading out and measuring things like sweater yokes. This cable works perfectly with my interchangeable sets.

Hiya Hiya is my favorite brand of needles, so the cables end up in WIPs tucked away all over the place. I was in dire need of another 40". This is the first time I've used an HH cable with a hole for a lifeline. Knitting lace is going to be so much easier now. The quality of the cable is just what I expect from HH--perfect.

this is my favorite brand of knitting needles and wires. they are all interchangeable, versatile, and if you can figure out a need you can make it from the cords and needles. i love how there are holes for the lifelines for projects.

Hiya Hiya never disappoints

These cables aren't very flexible. HiyaHiya interchangeable cables used to be extremely easy to use and now they are stiff and stay coiled up. I'm really disappointed that they have changed their quality.
