We had this installed by a contractor and he confirmed that it's a 2 person job when mounting this light fixture (attaching the mount and hanging the fixture without the crystals attached), Yes, as mentioned in other reviews the crystal assembly is tedious and time consuming for the inside small strings with balls (about 45 minutes) and then after the fixture is hanging installing all of the strands (about an hour with 2 people) but the completed light is stunning! I recommend cleaning the fixture with window cleaner to remove fingerprints before starting to hang the strands of crystals and trying to minimize handling the base after hanging it. That may be the only downside is keeping it clean because we live in a highly dusty area but we'll see. I also recommend assembling and hanging the strands with some kind of padding below your work area in case one gets dropped while assembling so the crystals don'tbreak or chip. I've got to say that the finished product is beatiful and my Wife just loves it! It is definately worth the time / moderate money investment and it even goes with our slightly modern/rustic themed Dining Room (yes, the two styles work together). The delivery was prompt and they include a couple of extra stands in case one or two get dropped or are damaged during assembly. Overall, this is a great purchase if you are wanting a classy look to your room.

Should take two adults 3 to 4 hours to assemble and install. When attaching the crystal balls to the strand use Snap ring pliers (Pictured). Before attaching the strand to the fixture plate use long nose pliers to bend the connection into the shape of a hook (pictured). These two suggestions should save you about an hour and a half. When delivered the chandelier’s with electrical wire and hanging wires come fully extended. These will need to be adjusted to the height of your ceiling. Best to do that before attaching any crystal strands. Remove all packing from the chandelier. Hang the chandelier upside down between two chairs or ladders with the canopy and bracket hanging down towards the floor. You can then adjust The fixture plate depending on how far you want it hanging down from the ceiling. Once adjusted, the extra hanging wires should be rolled up using a zip tie otherwise they will be difficult to keep in the canopy when connecting to the ceiling. once electrical is connected and canopy is attached all you need to do is make final adjustments with the hanging wires using bubble level. Make sure the fixture plate is leveled before you start connecting the crystal strands as once attached the crystal strands make the unit VERY heavy. Takes a lot of patience but it is worth it, it looks great and is a great value. Good luck.

We bought this beautiful chandelier. It looks great after we installed it. It is a bit difficult to install and requires some patience. (1) The wires were not labeled or marked for hot and neutral, they looked the same. So, we had to guess, we chose the one that had a bit of writing on it and it turned to be the black, hot wire, making the other one the neutral, white one. We tested with one bulb before full install and it came on. (2) We didn't realize that the clip that attaches to the base of the chandelier DOES NOT have to be aligned to the clip that is attached to the connector box in the attic. This caused our installation to be slightly off line/not straight. Got it done with tweaking the connecting cables up/down for a while, but could have been easier. (3) The crystals were MUCH EASIER to install than other chandeliers we have purchased. The balls made it look really great compared to straight-lined glasses. (4) If we did it again, we would have purchased a chandelier with a single chain in the middle and it would have been MUCH EASIER, but didn't find one, searching a long time, do we had to settle for a cabled option. Chain would have eliminated all the tweaking. (5) We shortened the cables by about 8 inches - very easy, just push them up into the base. We also knotted the cables and the power line in the base, that made the installation easier. (6) You need 2 people to do this job - one to install, the other to hold. We had an 8 foot ladder to reach a 12 foot height ceiling, it worked, but preferred to have a 10 footer and an 8 footer for the holder. Overall, a great piece. We had all the kids working getting the crystals together and attaching them. It took us from beginning to end, about 3 or 4 hours; could have been at least 1-2 hours shorter. Since we were replacing an existing/old chandelier, we didn't have to go into the attic and attach a "fan box" to hold 75 to 150 pounds, it was already there. Oh...one thing to note, the lights projection is downward, which we didn't really think about when we purchased it. It's fine, but the previous light we had had an all-around kind of projection because the top was clear glass and allowed light to also go up. Something to be aware.

This chandelier has very high reviews and let me tell you, it is well deserving of them. My bar was set high from the start and this product did not disappoint. It arrived VERY well packaged. Each crystal strand was individually bubble wrapped and then inserted into separate chambers in a big foam block. However, several strands contained chipped or cracked crystal, but this chandelier came with extras already supplied!! There is no way they were damaged in shipping with that excellent packaging, so I’m guessing they were just missed by quality control. I’m not taking any stars off because it came with enough extras to replace the bad ones, so my problem was resolved up front before needing to complain. This chandelier looks great with the lights on or off, but I don’t like the yellow/warm bulbs that came with it, so I replaced with dimmable “daylight” LED bulbs and this fixture absolutely sparkles! I’ve been shopping for a couple months and am so glad I found this one on Amazon. The price is amazing and it looks absolutely beautiful. Installation was a bit of a challenge because it could really use an extra set of hands to hang, but I was able to hang it all by myself successfully and I’ve never hung a chandelier before.. I am SO glad I made this purchase! It makes my dining room POP and the pictures really don’t do it enough justice.

This chandelier is stunning and value for money. It lights up the space beautifully and adds luxury and class to the space. The packaging was beautifully done with each crystal individually packed. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. It took my contractor an hour to hang the base and it took around an hour to two to hang the crystals. He mentioned that Instillation was not that easy. We wanted extra wires to get the chandelier at the right height and contacted 7pm lighting. The customer service team was extremely efficient on helping me out. They were communicative and were able to help me out quickly. I was amazed with their service and promptness. Definitely recommend buying this chandelier.

So it's 11:53pm and I had to do show the world how amazing this chandelier is. YOU NEED SOMEONE TO HELP YOU IF YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT ELECTRICITY! it took us about 2 hrs to install but we already knew what we were getting ourselves into. While my hubby was doing the electric work( no he's not a professional but he's installed a handful of chandeliers from amazon lol) I helped him with the little crystal pieces we had to place. It looks priceless. If you go to any store you will be double in price. YES IT IS CHROME COLOR NOT BLACK. And after you are done you will need to clean them one by one because you can see your fingerprints when installing. I don't care how long it took, and we really didn't care for the instructions... for the price we got this for... IT DESERVES 5 stars. Thank you!!!

I am thrilled with the value, design and bling factor to this exceptional chandelier. It exceeded my expectations. I had it professionally installed by my electrician and he was impressed with it as well. It was somewhat time consuming to place all the crystals, however, the finished product was amazing. He actually installed a dimmer switch, which enhanced the value as well. I also brought bright white LED bulbs that brightly illuminate all the crystals. Everyone whom has seen it with their own eyes all say the pictures can not compare to how beautiful it is in person. It was packaged well and delivered with care. Thank you Amazon.
