Baubax Men's Travel Jacket Bomber, Medium, Blue

for me, the jacket is perfect, i love it and i use amost everyday

I’m a bit disappointed in this jacket. The threading in the iPad pocket wasn’t done where the zipper goes. The pen wasn’t attached fully and fell off the 1st week, nowhere to be found. The iPad pocket threading or lining had a slight tear in it and it’s now a hole. I love the look and the idea of the jacket but I feel like I was duped it just got a bad quality version of it.

World's worst travel jacket. This this is extremely bulky and runs very small. I've now tried buying both the Baubax bomber and sweatshirt and they are both terrible. Poorly designed and excessively heavy. DON'T BUY!

I picked this up during the Kickstarter. I really like the look, the waterproofing, the pockets, and the pen/stylus clip. Everything else needs improvement. The fit: It's rather tight. I usually wear a MED, so that's what I ordered. I can't wear anything other than a short sleeve T-shirt under this without having fit issues (a little more on this later). I would have returned it for a LG, but the return fees for the first run was cost prohibitive and I thought it may loosen up with time. The features: This coat is all about the features. I like all the pockets, the pen and the glasses cloth. The extended sleeves with the thumb holes are nice in cold weather, but can be annoying because it's rather tight and can't be removed. The "Sleep Mask" on the hood seems nice, but doesn't really block out any light from the bottom so it could use some improvement. The included inflatable travel pillow is actually pretty nice, but the weird storage pocket in the hood for it is awful. During the kickstarter it was implied that the pillow would be part of the collar, and that is not the case. Build: The build of this coat my be the worst part. The armholes of this coat are so high/tight that when I sit down I feel like I can't breathe (I know that's weird, but that's what happens). Also all the arms are sewn on separately, so there is a good size seam that tightly runs under you armpit and over your shoulder. In addition to this, the Material for the body of the coat is a nice silky material, but the inside of the sleeves are lined with a fleece like material the will bundle up the sleeves of any shirt you wear up to your armpits (This is SUPER annoying). My last gripe is that the zipper pull is on the Left side. I don't know if this is on purpose or not, but it drives me crazy.On the positive side I will say that the sewing and the materials used seem to be high quality and it is surprisingly waterproof, even if they seem to have been assembled without much thought/testing... Overall this coat is not awful and I still plain to wear it on occasion. However, I would not recommend this coat to anyone at this price and this build quality.

About all I can say is it's a jacket. It was given as a gift so not much I can complain about. Great idea, poor execution, even worse customer service. I was sent a large which is normally what I wear, but was too tight. I asked for an exchange, and was told I had to pay shipping to and from which I find insulting especially for a new company. I HAD to send the money via Paypal which isn't how I choose to do business but again it's the only option. I received the XL and I swear they took out the label from my Large and put in a new label. The fit seems the same to me. Anyway it's been sitting in my closet unused and I decided to try and wear it. I agree with most of the other commenters about the negatives. The "built-in" gloves make no sense, they're more like arm extensions if you happen to have giant arms. They are way too long and there is no place to put them if you would rather not use them. You have to stuff them back up the sleeve and it's awkward. I still haven't figured out how the pillow stays in the hood and where the headphone cable holders are located. About the only positive I can say is the built-in pillow blows up and deflates quickly. Here is the stupid response I received about zipper placement. "It was a style design choice. There is not a standard for zippers and different brands determine which side the zipper is on. We understand that zipper is usually on the left side for American and some European markets. The zipper on the opposite side is a design choice and all our Baubax jackets, irrespective of Male or Female, have zippers on the same side." There are no standards? I have never in 56 years owned a garment that zipped this way, it's always been on the other side. I don't think I'll use Kickstarter anymore, too many bad experiences.

Oh how I wish I had looked at Amazon before ordering directly from Baubax. First, the XL was too small. It is closer to a large medium. Next, the next pillow is a disaster and I immediately pulled it out. Finally, after realizing didn't really want this I tried to return. To say it is complicated to return is an understatement. The packing slip does not have any information and in order to return you must register with the site and "open a case". I am still awaiting instructions to ship back and am told there will be a charge but how much I don't know. I hate to hurt a small company trying to earn a living but this is a disaster.
