Adapter Converter Compatible for Dewalt 20V DCB205 DCB206 Li-ion Battery to Compatible for Ridgid AEG 18V li-ion Power Tool Battery

Excellent adapter because the ridged batteries are worthless and now I can use my Dewalt batteries instead.

I bought this adapter specifically to adapt my Dewalt 20V batteries to the Ridgid cordless vacuum, WD03180. I can confirm that all of my DeWalt batteries will power the vacuum using this adapter. That includes: 3, 4, 5, 6ah batteries plus the FlexVolt 6 and 9ah and the Powerstack.The only caveat is when using a 5ah battery or higher, the battery door will not close due to the added height of the adapter. The solution is to remove the battery door by removing the orange plastic retaining clip. This is accessible by unlatching the two big orange latches on the sides of the unit and separating the upper and lower halves of the vacuum. You’ll see the clip underneath the upper half.

Easy to use and durable

I had a lot of dewalt batteries and the rigid ones all kept going bad. So bought this adapter and now don’t have to buy expensive new batteries for the different brand of batteries. With the large batteries the tool is a bit bulky but with the smaller pancake dewalt batteries it’s now different than just using the bigger dewalt battery.

So far everything is great. Purchased a Ridgid Framing Nailer without a battery. Adapter allows me to use by DeWalt Batteries. Nail gun works fine. Saved not having to purchase another battery or charger.

I only have the ridged circlular saw. The DeWalt battery sits a quarter in two far forward. So this adapter will not work with ridged saw. I don't have any other ridged tools to try with. I'm pretty sure it would work fine with any tool were the battery inserts on butt end. Drills and impacts are probly fine but I have no way of testing. This adapter is useless to me.

It shipped fast. The adapter fit tight on both sides and it works great.

Bought these for my husband and he says they are worth it for the price.

I ordered only one first to see if its works.You need to push the adapter down with some power to make it click. After that any dewalt battery works like a charm.Suction is very good, way better than expected.I use the 60v dewalt vaccum also for indoor stuff but for just outside cutting that vaccum plus the adapters work amazing.

Works well on my Ridgid vaccum with my Dewalt batteries. Saved me a lot of cash. Price could be cheaper i guess.

I was very skeptical, the wife didn’t like my jimmy rigged power wire system.So I ordered this DeWalt battery adaptor to rigid tools.Works flawless and so far been kidproof they’ve dropped it a a pile of times.Converts DeWalt battery and aftermarket Dewalt style battery to rigid tools.I have tried charging battery on rigid charger it was functional though remember it disables the sensor telling the charger the battery is fully charged.

Works as described perfect fit between both products. Delivers power without problem. Disconnects whenever required. Extends overall length of tool not suitable for compact use
