Native Union Smart Charger - 2-Port USB-A Charger (Slate)

My wife likes the design of this unit for her purse when she travels.It charges as described. Has a good overall feel to it. Comes in premium packaging if that matters.For the price it could be built a little better. The front flat plate is not completely flush along the edges and I could see the corners getting pushed down or pulled up. It would be easy to pry under the edge and peel the top plate off (probably breaking tabs in the process). This isn't something I would expect with this price point. It does look premium and the design is nice, I think its just an attention to detail in the build.Would I recommend it, sure to the crowd looking for this concept. As a solution for everyone, no there are less expensive units with better build quality in other form factors.

I love these things. I bought two of them and have had only good things to say about them so far.My bed is in a corner of my room, and has two outlets behind it that we use for phone charging, etc. I have wanted to replace the normal usb chargers that stick out a couple of inches or so and have been in those outlets forever, because any shifting of the bed bumps them around and risks damaging them or the outlet itself. The low profile on these solves that problem completely. It doesn't sound like much, but I have to move the bed frequently and this is actually a pretty nice change. I'm really glad I found these.

This charger will charge your equipment and it is slim so it is easy to pack. That said, the plug has a tendency to slip out of the socket partially after you plug it in and thus your phone or whatever is not charging when you think it is. This is especially annoying on air flights because the design is such that it is difficult to properly plug it into the socket on the seat. The body of the charger is large enough that it doesn't fit well on any of the Airbus models I have flown on. It's a bit better in hotel rooms but not much. It will block the other socket in the outlet if you plug it in in one fashion and if you plug it in the other way, the prongs will tend to try to fold back into the body of the charger due to the weight of the cord[s] you have plugged into it and then not charge at all.

I hate the look of cords all over the counter. This helps by keeping the cords close to the wall. It is also attractive as a slim, low profile, matte finished charger. The only draw back is that the prongs for plugging it in fold in. I guess that could be nice if your travelling with it, but for me it seems like the charger is less secure in the socket.

Not much else to say. Best quality I have ever found. Looks stylish on the wall and fits behind my couch. The plug ins in the bottom help prevent bent charging cords and allow the cords to fall naturally along the wall to the floor so no tripping hazards either. I have 2 of them and have ordered others as gifts.

Just purchased this for use at work - the form factor is great, the voltage and amperage passthrough is exactly as advertised, and the construction seems quite stable. It's a little more expensive than I'd prefer, but sometimes quality costs.

We use this for travel. The plugs are not tight in the outlet, so the unit can fall out...but the compact size is still worth a little extra care.

Love the design of this charger so much. Compact and two ports for iPhone & iPad - fantastic! A MacBook charger would be great, please.

Finally a wall charger that's flat and not bulky. Great build quality and works with all my cables. Perfect for my laptop bag that travels around with me.
