Helped the kids to learn cursive and make it fun win win
I have been looking a long time for something to bring the hate part of cursive writing and the fun of drawing. When kids have fun while doing their work they learn so much better. The step by step instructions are great and the different things that you can't turn the letter into. I would have never through of it at all. After doing just a few of them they began writing the letters and making their own little creations. Anything that helps make my life of teaching them easier is a huge win in my book. This is great book for anyone wanting to teach their kids cursive and for homeschoolers wanting to cover writing and art. I have not been this excited for a book in a while that has been put into our homeschool learning. This is well worth getting. When I purchased this book it was a free kindle book.

Great tool to incorporate motor memory and art for reluctant writers
I found this resource while searching for ways to work on fine and gross motor skills which are needed for cursive writing and ultimately motor memory. My OG student, who is really good at drawing and yet struggles with writing, has found these characters as a way to bridge the gap between what he wants to do and what I want him to do during a tutoring session. My suggestion for future products: have one book that is all lower case cursive and another book that is all upper case cursive. Orton-Gillingham teaches all lower case followed by all upper case.

Creative Fun
This is really a creative drawing book. It takes cursive letters & turns them into a picture. My daughter has just started cursive at school and she loves this book. The "G" Dancer is her favorite and the "C" Guy is my husband's favorite.Since we have had this series of books by this author, we have all of them to date & give them 5 stars each, my kids & myself have been more able to see letters in random pictures around us...Thanks Rachel

What an adorable book! I can use this for students
What an adorable book! I can use this for students, crafting and personally. Easy to follow. It makes it fun and easy for little ones to learn their alphabet, because it creates an indelible impression in their minds, it is tactile, it helps with small motor skills (holding pens, crayons, pencils) and helps children draw on their artistic abilities or gets them encouraged to want to learn more about art.

Pencil strokes gone wild!
With cursive floating away what a great way to get kids to still experience the art of writing! It is amazing what you can do with the stroke of a pencil! Rachel Goldstein's imagination is detailed and full of energy! Your kids will love this entire set of books! Keep drawing and using your imagination! Help your mind grow!

My children love this book!
My children love this book, maybe a little too much as there has been a fighting over who will be using it. While it is NOT a book to teach cursive, it will get them to practice writing letters. Fun, whimsical, and children approved, it is a good place to start drawing and maybe even develop a little confidence writing those cursive letters.

My Cursive Loving Child Loves This Book
My 3rd grader has been learning cursive and she really enjoys showing off the letters to me and my husband. So when I showed her this book, she was just amazed by it. She loves the other books by Ms. Goldstein so I knew she would love this. Can't wait for the next book.
