I was looking for a portable monitor to use as an extended display for my macbook pro when traveling and working remotely. I wanted something simple, easy to use, lightweight and travel friendly. It looked like this monitor would work, so gave it a try. Here are my thoughts after some use:+ Easy to use with Macbook Pro. The USB-C to USB-C connection made it super easy to use with one cable for my purposes. If you have a full function USB-C port available on your laptop, this is a perfect choice for you. Because this monitor needs power, if you don't have a USB-C connection that can supply power, you'll need to use the included external power supply.+ Screen Quality is very good. While it wasn't the brightest out of the box, you can turn the backlight up to make it brighter. I turned it all the way up and it was plenty bright. I eventually turned it back down to the 50% default and that's what I normally use. Note - the "+" button on the monitor is a shortcut to the backlight setting, so it's super easy to adjust - that's a nice feature to avoid going through the menu.+ Image Quality is great. The resolution seems to be really good. It's not Retina, but I don't notice much difference between my laptop screen and this monitor. Text is sharp and clear for work purposes, and video is sharp and motion is smooth. No issues at all. Backlight looks even across the monitor and no flickering or anything to speak of.+ Speakers are OK. I wasn't looking for good sound from the monitor and don't plan on using them. They are OK, but not something I would rely on for great sound. I would be OK if the monitor didn't even have the speakers.+ Ports. Two USB-C ports (one for power and data, and one that is DP compatible). One mini-HDMI port, to use with included HDMI to mini-HDMI for sources with HDMI output. One micro USB for accessories. Everything I was looking for and all ports seem to work great+ Cover / Stand. Integrated portfolio cover and stand is a great simple design. I really like it for its simple design and little leather flaps for 3 different positioning angles. I find they work better than indentions / grooves that other covers have.+ Pen-Hole Stand. Love the ability to use a pencil or pen as a stand to use in either rotation. An easy travel alternative for a stand.All-in-all, a great monitor for the price. I'm very pleased.

Great price and value. We got it for my son to travel with. Works well for Netflix on the go. As well as using it with the Xbox X, provides great graphics. The case is a bit flimsy but works well, looks nice and is functional.

This is a great screen especially for the price!We use this as a second screen to our computer or main screen for gaming on our switch when traveling! It’s easy to store when you’re not using it or to travel and very light weight.The picture and settings are good quality!The sound isn’t loud, but I don’t use it for the sound, so this wasn’t an issue for us.CON: The cord it came with is very short and stiff. I ended up buying a longer C to C power cord.Other than the cord I would definitely recommend this screen to others! I suggest getting a new cord when you order it!

This display is a great addition to my MacBook Pro 13" M1 laptop. It's about the same vertical height and displays really well as an extension display. I have been using it for Blender and some of my music apps and it sits and functions nicely. What I have discovered is that if I provide my Mac Power supply in one of the USB-C ports on the display and then connect the other display's USB-C port to my Mac, I get both the Display connection and the Power to the Mac supplied in one cable. This leaves my other MacBook USB-C port free for whatever.From an audio standpoint, I really don't care since my Mac has great audio so there no purpose for having the audio for me to be honest.I've decided to order another one for my Work laptop for when I travel.For the people complaining about the display slipping off the cover and not standing up properly, this is a genuine issue. However this is very easily solved with some spring paper clips. Look at the front of my photo and you'll see what I mean.From a color aspect this display is slightly warmer than my Mac. So with that said it's probably not an accurate Gamma like sRGB that Apple uses on their displays. This is no big concern as I'm not using this for color accuracy and really as an extension. I could easily move the app onto my MacBook display and then color correct there if needed.All-in-all, for the price, reasonable value IMO. The resolution is adequate for what I need. It's not ultra hi-res but that's not what I needed.

Item was originaly purchased to be used as an additional field monitor for my video shoots. (For customer monitoring of the shoot) The thin profile allows me to mount this on a light stand using a tripod adapter. This works great for that purpose (If you have the right equipment to feed this monitor the right signal)The screen is so thin and portable, that I decided to use it as a second screen for my 2018 MacBook Pro. It works great, but be forewarned - I had to use the apple OEM USB-C to HDMI dongle for the monitor to work properly. It did not work with my HyperDrive DUO that I have had for many years. So, if you have problems with your Mac not seeing this monitor, you may need to use the Apple-branded HDMI dongle.Other than that, I really like the portability.The only "cons" are that the menuing system is not setup in the most intuitive way, and you cannot access any of these settings without a video connection. (Monitor immediately goes into sleep mode with no connection)

Do not have any negatives for the unit. Had it for a few months and once it was configured, it really helps when I am offsite from work. The case doubles as a stand and come with all the connections needed to power up.The screen is decent but since I have not used other types of portable monitors have nothing to compare it to. Nevertheless cannot complain because it is the cheapest on the market so have set my expectations properly. I doubt that a unit costing twice as much will provide twice the performance.

I have recently bought new Dell xps 15. This portable monitor is a perfect companion. It works flawlessly with my Dell xps 15. No noticeable mouse lag. It works right out of the box with minimum setup, just plug and play by simply connecting my laptop to the portable monitor with the provided usb-c to usb-c cable. In addition, it also comes with all other types of cables for other device connection. More importantly, the display is anti glare matte which it is perfect for using it outside. The colour is crispy with multiple colour profiles. I use it as a second screen for news, market watch and movies while my younger siblings also use it as a monitor for their Nintendo switch devices. The audio is what you can expect: clear and loud. Lastly, it has a good chassis as it feels pretty durable when I walk around with it. But more importantly, it comes with a pretty sleek protector to protect my portable monitor as well.

I was caught by surprised as the packaging is a bit more premium than I expected, I felt like I was a YouTuber doing a unboxing review for a second lol.Jokes aside, spacings on the manual seem a bit off, needs a bit more work. The monitor controls are not intuitive, especially when I tried to press and hold the "-" button to rapidly decrease the hue and it jumped back to the main menu. The screen is a bit more blue by default.However, screen quality is good as I don't see any obvious pixels and it is HD as the seller claims, which is very important to me as a web designer! Also it's portable and 0 setup time, all I had to do was plug in the type C cable. It's a big plus for me as I work from home most of the time and I'd like to move around very often.Given the price and quality, I'd definitely recommend this. Would be a big plus if screen color is set to a more natural setting by default instead of having user to adjust manually.
