I replace my Shark filters every year. I clean both foam filters regularly, the thicker one after each use. The only way to ensure the vacuum is working at peak performance is to keep the filters as clean as possible, right? These replacement filters are as good the OEM filters.

We have had our Shark vacuum for 5 years now and I never KNEW they made replacement filters! But let me tell you, it was a game changer when I found these!I was washing my same filter consistently to make it last as long as it did, but I was so excited to vacuum for the first time with these new ones, and they did not disappoint!

I bought this a little while ago to have the filter ready when I needed it (it was a reorder of the item I had previously ordered.) I recently used it in my machine and it caused my machine to sound like it was working harder but not as powerfully. After a little testing I discovered that the foam filter I received was thicker than the one I had before and the vacuum had to work a lot harder to get air through it. I ended up removing it and reinserting the old one. I give it two stars because the first one I received in 2017 worked fine. The order I received on this in 2018 doesn't and it's well past any type of return.

I received the product and I was very satisfied with it. Although it was a circle smaller than what my family needed, it didn't leak hair. The quality is very good. There is a design that can be pinched by hand, which is very easy to use

This is my second time buying these filters, the previous set lasted us a year and we vacuum quite often.
