A small, worthwhile investment in Nikon lens compatibility
This thing works very well. I bought it specifically to adapt my Nikkor EDIF-G 12-24mm f4 F-mount lens to a Nikon Zfc. That lens already has its own SWM focusing motor, and you'd never know it wasn't a native Z-mount lens when using this adapter. Even with older AF AI-S lenses the metering & focus assist info is worth using it. The adapter is small, solidly built & a good value.

As Expected
Put this through a lot of use. Great product that adds minimal weight, while giving an added capability to use previous lenses.

Works great, but beware of AF on non-Nikon lenses.
If you’re reading this, you already know what this does and how well it works. But do be aware that autofocus probably won’t work with non-Nikon lenses. The couple of F-mount Sigma & Tokina’s in my collection AF perfectly on my F bodies, but act like MF lenses with this adapter on my z6iii. Not a big surprise, but something to be aware of.

Nice unit if you have older lenses
My son gifted me a new Nikon camera but the mount didn’t allow the use of my older Nikon lenses so I purchased this unit. It was easy to place on my new camera and allows pure auto focus capabilities using my 3 older lenses saving me thousands in lenses replacement replace costs. Would recommend this.

FTZ II
Arrived today and took it out for a test drive on random day and night around my neighborhood. I was nervous about functionality after reading a couple reviews but I bought it because I trust Nikon. I am completely happy with the fit, compatibility, functionality without any lost in quality.

We have a great connection
Perfect addition to my photography equipment. I recently upgraded from a Nikon D5600 to a Nikon z7ii. Mirrorless lenses are pretty expensive and out of the budget currently, so it was great to know there was an adapter like this that would allow me to use my DSLR lenses on my Mirrorless camera. Saved me on having to by the same lenses in the Mirrorless versions, which are 3xs expensive right now. This is great for those people who are trying to make the jump to Mirrorless, but can't afford to fully upgrade their equipment as well. It's very lightweight, easy to attach and does not lower picture quality. Fits comfortably between the camera body and lens.

RETURNED MY FTZII
Recently purchased the Nikon Z mirrorless 7_2. And since I've been using Nikon cameras for a while decided to also purchase the FTZII adapter for my F-mount lenses. The adapter works fine, no issues with that. Personally I didn't care for the way it had to crop some pictures. I do not have a lot of money invested in F-mount lenses so I will just use those for my older Nikon camera and purchase the newer Z-mount lenses beginning with the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 S. It's strictly a personal decision because I seem to always over-analyze these things.
