Waterdrop MNR35 Remineralization Filter Compatible with Undersink RO System

Amazing difference and the taste is really good can’t stand plastic water bottles and the taste from them now since having this on our ro system

Having spent the last 20 years drinking RO water on my sail boat without remineralisation, I thought I'd treat myself with my new RO unit, recently installed. The difference is night and day! I'd got so used to drinking flat-tasting tea, coffee and straight water, that the introduction of this filter is immediately apparent. Straight water or cordial is especially tasty now. Installation was easy, just insert the 1/4" product water pipe straight into the filter without any additional connections and you're laughing. Now that I know, I will not do without one of these in future.

Decent and easy to install

I use this as the remineralisation filter inline after Reverse Osmosis system from the same manufacturer. It works fine if you are pouring one or two cups of water from the tap after RO. However, the remineralisation cannot keep to the correct level if you are pouring say several litres of RO water. The first half litre of pour gives the correct level of remineralisation but it drops off significantly beyond that amount. When I’m preparing 5 litres of brew water I have to add bicarbonates, magnesium and calcium to make good brew water. In the right proportions this gets the water to the right pH (through the bicarbonates) and the right hardness (through the calcium and magnesium). If you ever need advice on how to do this, just ask ChatGPT and it will tell you the ingredients and percentages.

I’ve fitted this filter in my fridge inline after the normal Samsung filter and what a difference in taste. The water tastes a lot sweeter than normal and very refreshing. According to the description it adds magnesium sodium potassium and calcium so a health benefit too. So much like drinking spring / mineral water so saves pounds in buying such. Highly recommended and a vast improvement on normal filtered water.

Gute Leistung, aber etwas teuer! Die Filterleistung ist top und das Wasser schmeckt super. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Preis – dieser könnte gerne etwas günstiger sein. Trotzdem empfehlenswert!
