Chemical Binders? --- NO we do not use any binding agents, wax, colours or dye. NO external chemicals used while making the plates except water.
Liquid Food Leak / Absorption? --- Your Siri plates are not as absorbing as they look. Infact, we are planning to make soup bowls with this!
Too Delicate To Cut A Steak? --- Your Siri plates are sturdier than you think. You can easily cut a steak without cutting or breaking your plate. Perfect for a family BBQ!
Color of the plates? --- Each plate is unique in colour and pattern and texture. The color ranges from light beige to dark brown.
Brown Spots? --- Palm Leaf Plates often have brown spots or streaks on either the top or bottom. This is Totally Normal and does not indicate a dirty plate! That's just the way the leaves look.
Composting? --- The plates are after all a leaf. Just like any other leaf, it will decompose itself in 2 to 3 months. You dont even need a compost bin. Just bury them in your garden, they will become fertilizer.
Used in Weddings? --- Many high-end outdoor or beach weddings prefer palm leaf plates. Usually people filter out not so good looking plates beforehand so that only perfect ones are used in the wedding.
