18-inch Wood Backgammon Set - Olive Burlwood Board

This was purchased as a gift. I was disappointed when I opened the shipping container. The black box the backgammon set came in was scuffed all along the top. The backgammon case is made of rather thin wood and does not look very substantial. The finish was attractive. The dice cup, dice, and markers were in good condition, but ordinary. The design of the board was nice, but the wood looks like balsa. I'm debating about returning this because I'm not sure it's at a standard I'm comfortable with. If I had purchased this for personal use, It would have been more tolerable.
