Shalimar By Guerlain Perfumed Dusting Powder 125 G 4.4 Oz

Products arrived quickly and intact. This is the first time I've purchased this scent. Both the perfume and the dusting powder are lovely. I read the previous reviews so I was careful to ascertain that the perfume bottle and packaging had all the "bells and whistles" to authenticate the true Shalimar scent. Having never smelled the scent before, I cannot say whether this is the original scent or not, but I am very pleased with what I got and have received several unsolicited compliments when wearing it. I am equally pleased with the scent and satiny feel of the dusting powder. I would recommend and buy these products again from the same seller.

My wife has been using Shalimar products since I bought Shalimar products for her during/after the Cuban Missile Crisis at the Navy Exchange in Gitmo. I bought the Shalimar for our Christmas together after being gone before, during and after the crisis in 1962. Each Christmas and on her birthday, I replace her supply of the great Shalimar product line.Shalimar products are unique in that the wearer likes them and so does her husband.Again prime enables me to get an excellent product at a good price without having to go to a mall and find out that they are sold out.

I was looking for something with vanilla in it in powder form (layer it over Aveda's pure vanilla essential oil -- lasts longer!) and had forgotten this elegant, inexpensive goody from "back then." A lovely soft unobtrusive smell. Studies have proven men like the smell of vanilla, in a very scientifically obvious way that I won't graphically describe here. Try it and see how strangers react ... sort of like they feel kinda happy but not TOO happy. They'll want to hang around you, I laugh a little to see them drawn in. Yummy!

That's how my wife describes Shalimar powder and I'm sure she means it. I prefer buying it on line from Amazon because I always dreaded going to the perfume section of a department store. There were always ladies pushing their products and filling the air with competing and, in many cases, unpleasant smells. Avoiding that smelly part of the department store is a real plus to me this season.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. She was very pleased.

This product has been on the market for years, and is almost impossible to find in stores anymore. Thanks to Amazon, we old time fans can still enjoy the luxury of the scent and feel of Shalimar Dusting Powder. Worth the price. One container lasts me about a year.
