Good fun, but expensive for what it is.
This LCD doodle tablet, or whatever you want to call it, is a drawing pad that you use with a stylus and then erase at a button push. It’s very thin and reasonably light, too, and the stylus that can attach to a stretchy lanyard on a removable clip on the tablet’s side. In my experience the lanyard kept coming loose, but that’s not a big problem. There’s a lock button (to stop someone accidentally wiping your picture), and the aforementioned erase button which instantly clears the screen (provided the lock button isn’t on). It’s battery powered with an included and pre-installedCR2025 battery. In use:The effect of drawing on this is not unlike using those magic multi-coloured lead pencils. Its fun as you are never quite sure when the colour will change. You can draw pretty well with it, but perhaps not quite get the defined edges shown in the product photos. My son and I both love drawing so this was a tool/toy that was right up our street and we soon had a number of sketches completed. Of course, unlike with paper and pens/pencils, you can’t keep these images unless you photograph them - not if you want to draw anymore that is. The tablet is comfortable to hold being very thin and pretty lightweight and the stylus works well. Beware that your fingers and fingernails will also work and it was quite easy to accidentally draw on another part of the screen if you aren’t careful. My son found it slightly frustrating that you can’t erase just a section of a drawing, but I suspect that’s just the nature of the beast.PROS:A lot of fun and no mess - like a digital magic pencil pad, but with instant erase.Comfortable to hold and use with no arm strain.Pretty decent results, but ultimately a bit limiting maybe.Lock button if you want to keep a sketch to show someone.Pressure sensitive stylus and a stretchy lanyard.CONS:Would have been better if rechargeable.Value-wise a bit pricey. Not quite so precise as it could be, but still capable of good results. No case to protect the screen and overall feels a bit vulnerable to damage.OVERALL:This tablet is undeniably a lot of fun for any artistically-minded kids. There’s no mess, results are pretty good and it is light and thin enough to be comfortable for children. It can feel ultimately a bit limiting, but it is one of those toys that I suspect kids will head back to after a time. I have some concerns over its durability though. There are a lot of similar LCD drawing tablets out there with seemingly, but at lower prices than this. I can’t immediately see where this one stands out if anywhere so while we enjoy using it I suspect there are others that are just as good.

Easy to use and has a dock for keeping the stylus safe as well
This review is for the JAMIEWIN LCD Writing Tablet for Kids - 11" Drawing Scribble Board with Doodle Pen Notepad Writing Slate for Children and Memo for Adult(Blue) (Blue)JAMIEWIN LCD Writing Tablet for Kids - 11" Drawing Scribble Board with Doodle Pen Notepad Writing Slate for Children and Memo for Adult(Blue) (Blue)£12.49 at the time of review. It comes in a thin cardboard box with graphics on it, inside a thin foam sleeve. There is a small booklet, a lanyard, a stylus and a holder which clips onto the side of the tablet. The tablet has a Lock/Unlock switch which prevents the tablet being erased and it takes a CR2025 battery (provided). The battery is only used to erase the tablet so should last a long while. What sets this tablet apart is that you get a stylus holder and a lanyard to loop through the stylus and the tablet to help stop you losing the stylus, which is an easy thing to do. The holder is removable although I would prefer to keep it attached all the time. The tablet has two colours in it, with the same colour repeated top and bottom and a different one in the middle. The stylus worked perfectly and the Delete button did the job perfectly. If you find the Delete button isn’t working, check that you have the Lock/Unlock slider set to the unlock position. This tablet is a little thicker than a previous one I have used which makes it easier to hold, especially for smaller fingers. It also feels a little more robust thanks to this extra thickness. It doesn’t have magnetic strips on it, but that is not a problem as you could fit them yourself anyway. You can buy an 8” to 10” tablet for around £10 and a 12” tablet for around £15 so this seems to be sort of right for its price. It’s really up to you as to what size you want.I would have liked a slightly larger tablet, but the inclusion of the stylus dock and lanyard makes this writing tablet an easy 5 stars and highly recommended.

Nice quality writing tablet, good quality, large screen
I have kept the JAMIEWIN LCD Writing Tablet for Kids for my own usage, but of course this is suitable for children to write and draw on. You can write on it, make something nice and then make is disappear with such ease. The theme of the tablet I got was suited for my purpose as a functional not pad to keep ideas or track of some things I would like to do today. The digital writing tablet is a interesting item. I have used similar devices many times and find this quite useful to have routinely nearby or accessible. It good for simple drawings or simple written brief notes or words to recall later as prompt. Written work can stay fixed until you press the delete button and this clears the screen, items can be held with the hold key if required. You can draw picture, scribble or doodle. This could be interesting item from ages from 2 years to 99 years old. The lock mechanism is useful to save notes and erase once no longer required. The pen can be pressed into the holder clip on the side of the tablet. I note there is a opening at the top right where the pen can be attached with appropriate chord so that the pen and tablet are kept together. The screen on this tablet is of a good size 11'', I adjusted the clip holder and placed this at the top of the tablet. This will make a nice present to the appropriate person/child where this is felt they might use this.
