WYZECam Plus 3 Month Subscription (Packaging May Vary)

So I bought this before I read the reviews about it being deceiving, so I scanned the qr code, entered my wyze account login info before entering the code and then entered my card number and saw it covered one month so I reached out to customer service and attached is the email. So it does work and I made sure that I won't be billed next month. Hope this helps!

The cam plus on my front door bell is very unreliable, sometimes it takes few hours for video of events recorded previously to be available. I never received notifications about problems with their system. On top of it I received an email giving me an option to upgrade my cam plus monthly to yearly for much better price. From the email I proceeded and I made an upgrade. Immediately I was charged for yearly plan however few days later I was charged again for next month on my monthly plan, for this same camera. When the beginning of the next month approached I contacted the support asking why I was charged double for this same camera. I was told that: their system is not able to cancel one subscription when new one is activated and I had to cancel my monthly service or otherwise they will keep charging me. The email I received, encouraging me to upgrade my system never mentioned that. I asked for the refund for the month and a half when I was double charged, but I was told that their service is unable to give me a refund and that it was my fault that I did not cancelled the monthly service. I asked them for credit toward future months instead of refund and they also told me that they could not do it. Terrible customer service. Bad product and bad service.

Good quality night vision and daytime quality. Our baby bird is used to his surveillance buddy and does not cause him any annoyance despite his hypervigilance. I like the play back features and I don't get too many annoying advertising notifications. Serves it's purpose for monitoring our conure while he is sleeping or when we are away for a lengthier period during the day time.

The Wyze V-3 camera is quite nice. Easy to set up and the app works well but could be redesigned. The Clear picture and the zoom is a nice feature. That being said, The headache I had was with the Cam Plus subscription. It’s a little confusing to say the least. If it wasn’t for customer support I’d still be lost, who I must say was a very big help. First, if your purchase the camera bundle with cam-plus thru Amazon, the cam-plus subscription is not added automatically, it has to be entered manually. If you purchase thru the Wyze company it’s added automatically for you. Wish I had known this. Trying to figure out when to add these cam plus codes is another problem, which is why I had to contact customer support. This whole process has to be simplified. If it was I’d give this 5 stars. Nice cameras though, I’d buy again, just not thru Amazon, but thru Wyze
