So I am a smoker and I also ride a bicycle as my main form of transportation. While I can see that these seem to be conflicting with each other the fact remains, when I am on my bicycle it is next to impossible to light a cigarette without stopping with a bic lighter. This has led me to start using torches instead of traditional lighters. I’ve used quite a few different brands usually purchased at a local gas station and work for a couple weeks or maybe a few months even they all seem to fail quite rapidly.I haven’t had this one for too long now and if I have any issues out of it, I’ll update this review but as of now it seems to be a pretty good torch. it lights every time and it feels very solid in your hand, and the only thing that I can see it’s lacking would be a fuel window. I will say I had to open it up to adjust the flame on it which took all of five minutes. I’m assuming since these are shipped from the factory without any fluid, they probably never had any fluid in them in the first place so I would think it would be quite hard to correctly adjust a torch without any butane in it. Anyways, removing three street screws to adjust a flame is a small price to pay for a decent torch, I just hope that it holds up well.

Hard to refill leaks. Plus flame adjuster worked for a little while then stopped. Also when u let go of the igniter it's still lit for few seconds I don't know if thats normal or not

Works well for small outdoor soldering jobs. If you plan on buying the butane at Walmart be advised that it is kept locked up behind glass.

I replaced a lesser quality torch with this product, to use for starting campfires and general project work around the house. First off I have to say, it’s a very impressive little gadget.Pros-Produces a large flame, it’s easy to manipulate the igniter & fuel source. Hold great capacity and seems to be easy in fuel.Cons- I had some trouble loading this torch with fuel, I purchased name brand butane with a quality stem. When attempting to load, it seemed to struggle with accepting the butane. After some work and fuel loss I was able to get it to fill.Over all this is a quality product that performs well!

Got this to use the fancy melt solder built-in connectors. I am not very good with them (typically end up melting the connector). OK - More practice. No fault of this device, just operator headspace issue ;^)

I like the lighters very much but I've gotten 2 now and after a month they stop working! Always a problem with them .with they would do better Is quality checks.

I BOUGHT IT TO SEE IF IT WILL OUTLAST the usual torch lighter lifespan. It is HARD to fill for starters. It may need an adapter to fill it more effectively. As you attempt to fill it, you'll spill more butane than get it in. The other flaw is the flame control. It doesn't regulate the flame. It makes a great 2000° light saber/cigar lighter though. The only good thing it has is its well known name, Weller.We'll update you on its durability....

Looks like you're supposed to pull the lever with your thumb. It's very not ergonomic to use your index finger.Someone else complained their unit plugged up. You gotta use high-quality butane with these and clean them if they get clogged. Low-quality butane doesn't burn as cleanly.I just got the unit, so maybe I'll come back a month from now if it breaks. Honestly, nothing else I saw on the market really caught my eye other than this thing.
