I have never ordered a joint supplement for my horse before, so I was skeptical. Now, I'm a believer. This stuff is working. For the record, I'm a regular first-time customer of this product, not someone who received it in any other way. My 20+-year-old horse was laying down a lot and coming up lame generally, and specifically on one of his front legs. He could barely walk on several occasions, and once I panicked when I found him laying down in mud right near our barn at dinnertime.I thought he was "napping" during daylight hours and my husband, who's worked with horses far longer than me, told me he's laying down because his legs hurt. I jumped online to look for some relief and found this product which specifically said it offered "fast" relief. We started offering one scoop two times per day, as recommended per the label, with morning and evening grain. My gelding is an easy-feeder; he'll eat anything. He didn't react at all and ate his grain as usual--by dumping it all over the ground instead of from his pan. That's his habit. But he cleaned it up and has continued to do so.My husband and I watched him carefully. We discontinued giving him bute for pain relief on the same day we began offering the Manna Pro. Within one week, we saw improvement. There was no more lameness or obvious pain in walking, even after we knew the bute had fully worn off. Furthermore, my horse's "naps" have all but disappeared. I can see my horses from the windows of my house, and I frequently check their behavior and condition. (Our other horse is 30 years old. We watch.) We have only seen my horse lay down once since starting the Manna Pro, and that was on a very nice, sunny day. Additionally, my husband reported that my horse is spinning and wheeling around like he used to. His movement continues to improve! Yay!We decided to cut back on the amount of Manna Pro being given with feed after about 10 days. We went to 1/2 scoop with morning and evening feedings. I continue to watch my horse's progress on this program and will update this review if need be. But, I'm sold on this stuff. My horse is no longer suffering from leg pain and that makes me one very happy, satisfied customer. If you've read other reviews, you may notice that there are some issues with the way it's shipped, and ours was the same--it seemed like some of the product had leaked out of the plastic tub into the box it came in, but I weighed it and it weighed at 4 lbs, the full amount.I will be ordering this product again to protect my horse from joint problems due to aging. It works.

Use it on a 20 year old rescue Halflinger mix and 2 - 30 year old ponies and wow , what a difference it made, wish I would have taken a before and after video. My Halflinger mix was stiff legged and stumbling when she arrived here, she was getting better as she was getting exercised and got better nutrition but when I added this to her diet she made a huge comeback , she has been on it for 10 days now and she started to run with a bounce in her step , trotting around in the pasture . My two old ponies also benefit from it , one was already active , old age was showing and they also are showing more bounce in their steps. Love it . I gave it to them the first 7 days every morning, the Halflinger the whole scoop, the larger pony half a scoop and the mini-pony 1/4 scoop and now they get it every other day and I probably give to them every 3 days and keep them on it . Love this stuff . Thought at first it was a little pricey but it's worth it and the bucket last longer than expected.

Amended review-Just opened most recent purchase. My horse was leaving some in his feed bowl. I contacted manna-pro and they said product is guaranteed for one year after the date on the container. It must have tasted stale to my horse. It actually expired 2 weeks before I even ordered it. When the product is fresh, it's great. I hope the seller makes sure future products have not expired.Previous review-I've Been using this product for years with my horse who has ringbone. It works really well, especially if he has a flareup. Each horse is different, so I can recommend that if you have a horse with any joint issue try a variety of products and this one just might Do the trick.i also give him MSM as it helps with pain and inflammation & rebuilding cartilage/tissues.
